Beautiful secret garden close to everything (harbor, nice restaurants,shops) the staff was extremly friendly and adorable they help me to upgrade the wifi speed to work. The pool area is nice and clean. The breakfast is tasty. It would be nice to provide some fresh juices or smoothies for breakfast. They had amazing fruits.

After arriving at my booked hotel on Gili Air I was so disappointed with the room and poor service I immediately checked out and found the Bel Air close by. I had no booking there but the lovely manager Endang took one look at me and sent staff to immediately bring me a cold drink. Thankfully they did have a room and I was taken to inspect the room and happily booked. I was so happy here and the staff were amazing at all times. The room was spotless, the air con just right, the bed was super comfortable, the fridge was cold, I had a lovely private area to sit, breakfast was delicious, the pool was right outside my door and everything worked as it should. There was a great restaurant next door and an atm at the entrance. I had a peaceful and relaxing stay here and would certainly book again on my next visit. We booked Ke rensia villas for part of our honeymoon. Before we arrived, we messaged via *********** to ask if it was ok if we checked in at 12pm as that's when our boat was arriving. The owners responded and said yes, that would be fine. We arrived after a very long journey on an extremely hot day. Both of us were pouring with sweat after finally reaching the hotel with very heavy bags. When we arrived we were told our room wasn't ready and wouldn't be for another 2 hours. We were told 'you can walk around for 2 hours and come back'. When we insisted we had already arranged an early check in, the female member of staff who works on the desk was extremely rude to us and shrugged her shoulders and said 'that's just our check in time'. Eventually we were seated in the restaurant, Lockdown Kitchen and the staff said they would get a villa ready for us. When we were finally shown the villa, we were really disappointed. It was dirty, with a filthy breakfast bar area and there were several dead insect stains on the walls and a dead, squashed cockroach on the floor. The bedroom was extremely dark and dingy too, with a very hard bed. It was definitely not the romantic villa in the photos. To make matters worse, the location of the villa meant that ants, flies, enormous spiders and other flying creatures constantly came into the kitchen area and then also into our bedroom. On several occasions we had to call the front desk to have very large spiders removed from our villa because they kept ending up in our bedroom. It was really difficult to relax and go to sleep at night when we were worried about huge spiders coming under the large gap under the door and into our bedroom. On the first night some of the electrics in the villa complex also went out which meant our garden lights stopped working and we couldn't sit by our pool in the evenings. This still wasn't fixed when we checked out. Breakfast was average. I tried two coffees while we were here, both of which were abysmal and had to be thrown away. The banana pancakes I had were passable. You also couldn't close or lock the bathroom door from the inside which meant there wasn't much privacy going to the bathroom. Overall this was an extremely disappointing stay. The only plus point for this hotel was the lovely male staff members who were really friendly and helpful. However we would definitely not stay here again when we return to Gili Air and will not be recommending this hotel. This stay nearly ruined our honeymoon and we desperately wished we had booked somewhere else. In conclusion, the female member of staff here needs some customer training and if you like clean places and you aren't a fan of insects you definitely shouldn't book here.

From our first step into this resort, we were made to feel welcome. All rooms are cabana style with direct access into the most amazing pool on Gili Air. Rooms had very comfortable king size beds with amazing pillows. TV with Netflix was installed and internet access superb. A good breakfast (freshly cooked from the menu) was served next to the second infinity pool overlooking the sea. Nightly films showing on a large screen which is common in Gili Air. Especially nice was the manager and family inviting us to join in with a sing-a-long at night whilst sat on bean bags next to the pool. No, this hotel is not perfect but if it was it would have 5 stars and be much more expensive. The pools, rooms and staff will give you a 5 star experience so please do not overlook this little gem. We had a short but great stay at Manta Dive Resort. Room was comfortable, good working air con and clean. Real fast was included and delicious with several options to choose from which is nice for multi day stay. We did one day of diving and the team was wonderful, rental equipment worked well, dive guides and boat staff were wonderful. The manager Rob was very helpful as well. Highly recommend as a place to base out of in the Gilis to explore and do some diving!

Heaven in Paradise! We love it here the trees around the pool, the landscaping of the garden, the open air bar, the colours of the decor and the decorations themselves make this a lovely place to hang around after a strenuous day snorkelling and walking around the island. It’s such a beautiful colourful place to come back to and in a great location. The rooms are great and the staff are very friendly and helpful and very well managed by Dicky, the wonderful manager.

This is a cheap hotel so I wasn’t expecting anything amazing, however, this hotel fell way below standard. The pictures of the hotel on Trip are not accurate- in fact I can see one of the pictures is an AI render and is in no way representative of the actual hotel. The room is damp and dingy, not clean at all and the walls are crumbling. I had booked 3 nights and left after 2 as I really couldn’t stay here. It’s a shame because the staff here are amazing; very kind and attentive, genuinely interested in talking to me and helpful with suggesting what to do on the island. They seemed sad when I left early but o really needed to get out. The location is good, 5 mins walk from the port and they have a beach front restaurant. The food was average, but that was consistent across all the restaurants I tried on Gili Meno.

I had a lovely solo stay at Juliantos by the Sea and felt inspired to share my experiences with others who may be thinking of booking a place on Gili Air. There are lots of options for accommodation on the island, however this place was the perfect balance of welcoming, but also so peaceful, spacious and really well priced. Also, you couldn’t ask for a better location, as it’s close enough to any amenities you may need but also far away from any loud parties or late night revelry. I was able to do my work from my room which is really well set out with a little desk and great aircon. The Wi-Fi was excellent and I felt I could be productive and creative after having my daily sunrise walk, followed by swim in the tidal pool and afternoon snorkel where I saw turtles every single day! There is actually something magical about this place, not just the island itself which has such an easy-going vibe. Maybe it’s the friendly staff or the lovely hosts who seemed to intuitively look after me as a solo female traveller. I found this place to be very down to earth, from the local food on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner to cheap scooter and bike hire to get around the island. Although I loved my solo time here, I think this would be a lovely place to come with family or friends, due to the location, price and beautiful genuine service. Thank you so much for having me!
