We had a lovely two night stay with food both evenings which was excellent and the Cornish breakfast was delicious and filling. Parking was available on site which was great and plenty of spaces. The staff are lovely and we will hopefully return again.

The pub was very pretty and looked nice but there was slight confusion over booking as they booked us under a different name to what we told them. Some of the staff were quite rude but they do, do very nice food, but they gave me 3 potato’s and gave the woman next to me about 7 potato’s

Really nice lunch of gammon egg chips peas and pineapple, washed down with some real ale(proper job)and a soda and lime.the price was very reasonable, the staff where excellent and very pleasant. This was after a morning on the coastal road.

We came here after a lady in mousehole recommended it, so pleased we did. The place is lovely with pleasant staff, delicious food and a good selection of beers. I had the hake fillet with new potatoes and vegetables and my husband had the duo of pork. We both enjoyed our meals and would definitely return when we are in the area.

Went 2 nights in a row for dinner. Good food, friendly atmosphere and good selection of beers. Cosy fireplace in the cooler months adds to the atmosphere. We were staying in the village, not at the pub, but would be happy to stay there in the future.

I started this review earlier but seemed to restricted by length. We arrived, our booking could not initially be found. We booked dinner, again this couldn’t be found. A drinks order was taken. Menus provided and order submitted; it took 45 minutes to serve (the kitchen was very busy and ur was very hot in the kitchen); this was their explanation, I kid you not. We had an early start the following morning, and had booked breakfast accordingly; the chef wasn’t in, the toaster blew the fuse board so no hot food available! Never again.

Excellant pint of Proper Job with excellant Sunday roast. Unfortunatly we were ushered out of lounge into a very basic public bar both with several empty tables for 2, then seated at table 10 faciing the bar with insufficent room to sit facing one another as staff continually brushed past table to serve.

This pub has easy parking and access. There are out door tables to enjoy a drink in the sun. Good range of local beers and cider. It is directly opposite the church and offers a good view of the old church tower.
