Guest in our floor were playing loud music and were banging their doors till 3 AM in the morning. We were terrified and scared. We couldn’t sleep the whole night. Will never stay at this place again

The hotel was totally unprepared for the amount of guests staying with reception being manned by a single person no matter how many people were queueing, they admitted they were overbooked and i never received the room i paid for. No clean towels were available at pool or for my room which was not cleaned for the whole stay. Breakfast on the last day was ala carte but there was no ham and it still took nearly an hour to serve the 5 people in the room. Not to the normal Sheraton standard by a long way

Very nice stay, clean building and friendly staff. No noise issues despite it being an event venue. Balcony room was nice and convenient for fresh air.

I will say that the staff was polite and seemed to want to help where they could, including one of them offering us free breakfast vouchers to make up for the issues, but:
The biggest issue we had is that it was impossible to get cold water. When the sink or shower faucet was turned to cold, the water ran warm and then hot. If you turned it to hot it got scalding. For drinking water we had to just ice everything down and then we didn't end up showering just because we didn't know if the water would suddenly get scalding. This was the case for both of our rooms which were on opposite sides of the property.
The bathroom door barely closed, only when putting your whole bodyweight behind it because it drug against the bathroom floor. The door latch was installed backwards too making it harder.
There was spotting on the tile floor inside the door when we got to our room, like something had spilled and dried up and then not been cleaned up. There were also several electrical wires just out on the carpet like the thermostat had just been changed out and no one bothered to clean up.

Never again
The staff was friendly,but the accommodations were not,had to take 2 separate elevators to our room,they don’t have their own parking,you had to park on street and pay or park in a garage 2 blocks away. It is not what you would think a Sheraton would be. The area is not ideal . Someone was smoking **** in the hallway all night,keeping us awake,we will not stay here again. Not to mention we had a view out of our window of all the air conditioning units on the roof, not ideal. I like to take walks when I stay at places,the homeless population in this area is abundance keeping me from doing that. A lot of abandoned buildings,homeless camping out,just not the cleanest and safest area.

Overall it was good.Maybe an upgrade in decor and general maintenance.Also, consider a shuttle to events at the riverfront.Want to stay there again.

Nice property that has been renovated. Close to riverfront and other walkable attractions. Wish we had used the restaurant and bar - looked nice. Nice hotel and location. Parking is extra.
