Hotels with Breakfast in Perai

Stayed at Grand Orient for one night for a business trip, and even though the hotel catered more for families with children (they have an in-house water park, though I did not try it out), I was generally satisfied with my stay. Room: Being relatively new certainly helped them in this regard, as the room's fittings were good and intact and the room itself felt fresh despite not having any windows. Bed and linen were comfortable, and the room was equipped with basic amenities. They provided an ironing board and iron which was a handy addition. Toilet was clean and modern. My only complaint - the toilet had a small tube (most probably for draining air-conditioning condensate water) sticking out of the ceiling directly on top the sink, which dripped water once in a while. Definitely something that needs to be improved on. Also, the room was quite small and felt slightly cramped. Location: Not very conducive, as there are hardly any shops within walking distance. The nearest convenience store would be a petrol station, about a 5-minute walk away. You would have to drive out for food and goods. Staff: Professional and welcoming. No complaints. Conclusion: Even though the Grand Orient had an in-house water park and was more family-oriented, the hotel premises was generally clean. It is probably not well suited for certain target groups, so do bear in mind what your priorities are before considering this place. All in all an ok place, though I may have scored it higher if it weren't for the odd water leak issue in the toilet.

Located in Perai, it takes you around 30mins for going to Penang Island by car/ ferry. Not much to see around the hotel. Luckily, there is the Chai Leng Park food street (5 mins by car) with many delicious local food options. The hotel got all 4-star hotel amenities. However, it’s quite worn out and the cleanliness really need to be improved. A reasonable choice of food for the breakfast buffet. Food is fine. I would choose another hotel if I visit Penang again.

Eventhough this hotel are old but the rooms still OK to stay. Clean and tv channels are clear. Comes with complimentary parking as well. Walking distance to many convenience store and restaurants or food stalls.

The room was so clean and calming. staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so delicious and many choice. highly recomended.muslim friendly

Location was handy to train for early morning departure. Shower very good. Clean functional

After booking, it is very convenient to rent this hotel because it is very convenient for food. The businessmen who go up to Beijing once a week rent this hotel habitually. Even the waiters are familiar with us. The most important thing is to facilitate food, drink and transportation.
