Very elegant hotel....even swan towels on the bed! Who does that? Kitchen cooked breakfast with service, not the usual help yourself..

Looked at the solid reviews and made a reservation. We were not disappointed. As advertised, the room was clean and comfortable, and budget friendly. Nothing fancy but that was not our priority. The road out front is busy and could be a little noisy at times, and expect a train horn once in a while; these are but minor inconveniences to an otherwise very enjoyable stay. Perth has a fantastic heritage downtown and is well worth visiting. The Tay Inn helped keep us on budget for our one night stay exploring the area, and the innkeepers were friendly and helpful. What more is needed?
