I went with a friend and tried the local dishes along with a glass of mint tea. Visiting during winter made the experience even more special, nothing beats warm, comforting food and tea in cold weather, and I really enjoyed the meal. The ambiance was also good.

We have just completed an 8 night stay at this very friendly and welcoming hotel. You could not ask for better service, more varied food offerings or a more stunning location. Nothing was too much trouble and every staff member we dealt with was enthusiastic and helpful. Thank you so much for such a lovely environment to return to each afternoon after days out hiking. The swimming pool was a great place to relax too. We would happily return to this stunning hotel in a future occasion.

A wonderful weeklong stay at the elegant, beautiful, skillfully managed Der Wiesenhof. From check-in through departure, our experience was top notch, and we would recommend a stay here without hesitation. If you’re active, there is much to do right from the hotel; hiking, swimming (in their lovely pool or the lake!), paragliding, boating, golf, e-bike excursions…the list is endless! And if you’d prefer to relax, there’s a fine spa, the grounds are gorgeous, and the views are grand. Extra big kudos to bartender extraordinaire Sharif, and kind and efficient Lena in the dining hall, but honestly, everyone on the employee team is amazing. We look forward to our next visit.

This a wonderful hotel. The room was spacious with a great view of the lake. Food was excellent and menu very varied. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and spa were fantastic and a relaxing way to finish a day's walking. The Pertisau area has some wonderful walking in spectacular scenery.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The facilities are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. From the time we arrived to the time we departed we were looked after very well by the friendly efficient staff. The food was perfect for us and everything is clean and well kept. The pool and spa is luxurious and the peace and views of the surroundings makes the location of this hotel ideal. Views of the lake and mountains from every aspect. We had a wonderful holiday there with so many activities in the area and will definitely return.

We had a 7 night stay at the Wiesenhof and it was a real treat. Our room had a great view of the mountains & Lake Achensee. The family run hotel is a perfect place to explore the Achensee region. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Meals at the hotel were also excellent with a varied daily menu. A special mention also needs to be made of the pool area which is a perfect way to relax after a day of hiking the nearby region. The hotel is also a short walk to the Karwendel cable car. Would definitely stay again!!

An absolute gem of a hotel. Great service; food; facilities and above a friendly and professional team. Excellent pool. Fabulous room with balcony. It is family run and the atmosphere definitely makes you feel very relaxed. Great location for walks and beautiful scenery. We were sorry to leave!
