Excellent location on Pertisau's lakefront, a short walk to the ferry point/shops etc, short walk to cable car and with a bus stop just outside. Good sized corner room, with decent pressure in the shower, a dressing table, plenty of storage and somewhere to sit other than the bed (which doesn't always happen in a single room). Great leisure facilities with indoor and outdoor pools (indoor one a pleasant temperature). Neck jet and massage jets in the pool and a whirlpool section plus a separate whirlpool at a higher temperature. All kept clean and I often had indoor pool to myself. Good range of foods at breakfast. A small themed section which changed each day but breads, rolls, pastries, fruit, cereal etc always available and an egg station for made to order omelettes etc so choice for everyone. Dinner was a salad buffet, choice of a cream or a broth style soup, choice of main (typically one meat, one fish, one veggie option) and a dessert. Also had a couple of themed evening buffets where you chose directly from chef at their station. Generally evening food well presented and tasty. Also offered afternoon snack buffet- typically one hot option with an accompaniment plus soup, small salad & cold cuts selection, bread and some choices of cakes. You could just have a snack or could effectively have a full couple of courses late lunch. Cleaning staff were efficient and were quick & happy to help one day having accidentally locked my key card in my room. Unfortunately despite all these positive elements my stay was not as enjoyable as it could or should have been. I stayed on a half board package booked months in advance yet I was still not given a table in the main restaurant area and was seated in the bar area insead. The surrounding tables had different people every day or were empty so I never got the chance to meet other guests staying longer and it was quite isolating given I was a solo traveller. I often had long gaps between courses, the process for ordering the evening meal seemed to change depending who was on shift (I'd ordered at the start of the meal for the first few days then it got switched to ordering at breakfast), I was very rarely given the daily newsletter on the table at breakfast so had to go and find my own copy. One morning there was a group event in the bar but I hadn't been told about this in advance and staff didn't seem to have a plan where I could have my breakfast instead. I had to leave for the airport before breakfast opened and ordered a packed breakfast but was not told I needed to collect this the night before as reception would also be closed in the morning. No effort was made to get this to me on the night before, so I ended up having to leave for the airport without any food. There was also a mix up with charging me for the wrong drink on one of the evenings. The key card acts as the guest card and you can also pay to upgrade this to a 7 day card with unlimited use of ferries, cable cars etc. This is a servic

Me and my husband stayed at the Post am See during our ski vacation and despite there being very little snow to ski on, we had an amazing time thanks to the friendly team and beautiful location! The hotel was clean and peaceful, food was always delicious and other guests were mostly couples, which we prefer. Every single member of the team was so friendly that we felt like we were staying with family members, shame we didn’t book for longer! Will definitely want to return one day, maybe in summer when it’s their main season 😊.

Wonderful location, right on the lake with private sunbathing and swimming facilities, and close to the steamer pier. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem was that breakfast didn't start till 8am, which was ridiculously late if you wanted to set out on a day's walking. And, because it started so late, everyone was trying to get to the buffet at once. Other than that, an excellent hotel.

The best veggie burger I have EVER had. ..seriously - I’m vegan for already 5 years, but this blew my mind. See bar is great not just because of the burger (which is once again out of this world) but also because of the pleasant and staff members and the view is just spectacular ✨ THANK YOU fl🤍

Hotel well located, in front of the lake. Room (called "deluxe") large, impeccable cleanliness. Beautiful swimming pools (indoor and outdoor). We did not use the spa. Very knowledgeable and professional front desk staff. In terms of catering, it was rather average, both in terms of service, and even more so in terms of the quality of the food. Rather correct sweet and savory breakfast, everyone finds what they are looking for, even if baguettes would be welcome, the reheated rolls sometimes leaving something to be desired, qualitatively spoken. The dinner was average, very rough meat cooking, too bad some dishes deserved much better. Apart from the raw vegetables from the buffet, the vegetables were lacking with the hot dish, too repetitive, not varied enough. This was really the only downside of our one-week stay. Otherwise the region is conducive to beautiful hikes. A cable car located about ten minutes from the hotel.

It is a very beautiful village, with many possibilities, cross-country skiing, skiing and snowboarding and sledding. Lovely cabin walks to do. The breakfast is top notch , such a large extensive breakfast buffet . In the afternoon there is also something delicious on offer. Evening meal only salad buffet, the other dishes are served, too bad but the dishes have little taste and smaller portions. Many purchased dishes, a pity, while you can cook fresh with so many staff. Packages of soup/desserts. Wellness is very nice, if was nicely maintained. Rooms quite nicely renovated, staff members are friendly . Had been a nice holiday.

Things really get going at the Hotel Post. The loud music from the bar (dull techno) penetrates 3 floors up, the bed vibrates, sleep is impossible. The morning yoga class at 7 a.m. can safely be canceled from the program, and the pre-programmed bad mood due to lack of sleep, as well as the hard bed with an outdated mattress, contribute to the fact that the desire to go on vacation is so thoroughly lost. No relaxation far and wide, the wellness area (which is really beautiful) can be so beautiful, lack of sleep due to a massive noise disturbance until well after midnight (I wouldn't have said anything if the solo entertainer had ended around 11 p.m.), can't fix anything in the world! The service staff in the restaurant tried hard, the food was ok, but I got scrambled eggs at breakfast instead of an omelette (egg dishes in Austrian), the wellness area was great. But unfortunately 0 recreational value.
