Great location, excellent breakfast , friendly and helpful staff... but rooms in need of soundproofing , you can easily hear everything in the surrounding rooms. Not to mention the wooden headboard which is very uncomfortable for Tv watching.

This is a wonderful family operated place to stay. Beautiful scenery, caring staff, and absolutely delicious food. We had relatives in the area that we had never met and they went out of their way to help us find them. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Highly recommended!

Our family of 4 adults had a great stay at Hotel Iris for 2 nights. This is a lovely rustic stay on the edge of town. The breakfast was great, and we even enjoyed dinner at the restaurant both nights - they offer simple but well-prepared meals that are just what you want after a long day of touring. The rooms are basic, and without AC but were comfortable enough for what we needed. We also enjoyed have evening drinks by the pool, surrounded by nature. Special thanks to Alex for all his help throughout our stay - he was always there from breakfast through dinner to help us with any questions (or translations) we needed.

Iris Hotel is an excellent 3Star hotel. The rooms are reasonably well equipped and comfortable if a bit basic. The restaurant is not brilliant. After eating there the first night we went out ever other night. Our stay was three nights. Whilst the hotel was basic the staff and management were amazing. One of our number was taken ill whilst we were there but two of the staff took her to the local clinic and made sure she was seen, acted as interpreters and took them to the Pharmacy. After this they helped us with restaurant choices and bookings and advised us on walks through the national park. Go there the staff will make your stay in the Abruzzo national park a much better experience.

I proprietari e il personale sono stati sempre cordiali e disponibili ad accontentarci nelle nostre richieste! Cibo ottimo e ambienti accoglienti hanno contribuito a rendere il nostro weekend davvero rilassante. Ottimi i consigli sui sentieri in montagna e molto gradita anche l’animazione (la simpaticissima Martina) a disposizione non solo per i bambini ma anche per gli adulti! Sicuramente ci ritorneremo!

Siamo stati qui con la mia famiglia e i bimbi, è stato tutta una bellissima esperienza, sotto ogni punto di vista, camere pulite, cucina buonissima, posto strategico e tutti molto disponibili a consigliarci per poterci muovere, dalla visita ai daini, al giro con pony e cavalli. Dal pomeriggio che restavamo in hotel animazione con Stefano e Martina bravissimi e simpatici hanno intrattenuto le bambine e non so solo. Lo consiglio e sicuramente torneremo.
