"The front desk staff were very warm and humorous. I checked out during the day and asked them to store my luggage. When I went back to pick it up in the evening to catch the last bus, I was in a hurry. They comforted me, saying there was still time, and gave me a bottle of water. They also wished me a pleasant journey. I was really touched. I wish the hotel would do better and better and the staff would be happy every day."

"The room was beautiful and cozy, with lovely decor, and we could see the Eiger mountain right from our window. For Switzerland, this price offers excellent value for money. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of choices. The only thing to note is that the hotel is located on the mountaintop. It's best to take public transport up and down. If you miss the last bus at 6 PM, make sure to select the driving route on Google Maps to go up the mountain, as it's much better than walking. I wouldn't recommend walking if you're not in good physical shape."

Although the weather didn't quite cooperate during my stay, the hotel's fantastic service more than made up for it. The hotel's interior design is simply stunning. Every aspect of the decor exudes elegance and sophistication. The attention to detail is evident, and it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the premises. The architecture and furnishings are tastefully chosen, providing a luxurious and comfortable ambiance for guests. One of the highlights of this hotel is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Unfortunately, I encountered some bad luck with the weather during my stay, which limited my ability to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, even through the mist and rain, I could sense the beauty that lay beyond the hotel's windows. I can only imagine how magical it would be on a clear day. The service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. "The hotel was far beyond our expectations. The hotel pictures on Ctrip really lowered the grade of this hotel. The hotel is invincible. Our room has a 180-degree balcony with an invincible view, the side of the balcony (Figure 1), the front of the balcony and the view from the restaurant (Figures 2-4). After all, it is such a noble place, and psychologically I am afraid that the waiters will be arrogant. As a result, the hotel staff provided invincible service. The child wanted to add a sofa bed, which was immediately made. The dinner added cheese for 15 Swiss francs, and the waiter introduced various cheeses to the child in detail (eat as you like). I rarely ate vegetables along the way, but I ordered a large plate of vegetables here, and they customized a grilled vegetable for us the next day. Various dishes are also delicious. Although the price of 4,500 per night is expensive, it is a bit more expensive for a family of three with a 12-year-old child, but this view and service are absolutely worth it."

"I will never forget my stay at this hotel. It is by far the best hotel I’ve ever been to. The price is very reasonable considering the location and all the amenities included. What truly made it special was the extra effort from the staff—they surprised me with a birthday card and a sweet cupcake in my room."

"Excellent value for money, especially for Switzerland! It's just a short walk from the train station and also very close to the First mountain ticket office. We had a room with a mountain view, which was also spacious and very clean. Highly recommend!"

"## Environment The location is absolutely stunning, directly facing snow-capped mountains and a picturesque hillside. The view from our room window was simply gorgeous. It's also conveniently located right next to the train station, and you can even watch trains pass through the beautiful scenery. ## Facilities Although the hotel is historic, it's impeccably clean and well-maintained. It beautifully combines classic charm with modern conveniences. Parking is available but costs 25 CHF per day. ## Service Overall, the service was quite good. However, on our second day, housekeeping didn't replenish our complimentary water bottles, seemingly because we hadn't finished the ones from the previous day. When we finished them and called reception for more, we were initially told there would be a charge. After we explained that the water hadn't been refilled during cleaning, they promptly sent some up free of charge. Interestingly, the mini-bar drinks are complimentary. On a lighter note, the cleaning staff accidentally left a cleaning cloth behind, haha! Each of us also received a complimentary voucher for the evening lounge, redeemable for a drink while enjoying live piano music – a really nice touch. The pool was wonderfully empty, but unfortunately, the sauna was out of order that day."

"The hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room. However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking. The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done. The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good. The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet. Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)"

"Right next to the train station, not a long walk, but the subway navigation was off, taking me on a long detour. I searched for a while before I found it. The hotel replied quickly to my email and sent a car to pick me up. The front desk service was excellent. It's very convenient for First and Jungfraujoch, and they can also help with booking tickets. A young man on the night shift enthusiastically suggested waiting until the next day to check the weather before booking tickets. The scenery is beautiful and the room is very spacious, but it was more expensive than the price I saw that day. Breakfast was great, very European. The scenery is beautiful."

"Such a cute little hotel right by Grindelwald train station! Only thing is that it is up a really steep hill, no joke to climb up while dragging your luggage. Rooms were very roomy and clean. They kindly upgraded one of our rooms to a bigger room, which was really generous. Breakfast was simple but satisfying and delicious. There were cows at the patch of grass next to the hotel, which amused us greatly. Would recommend."
