Pleasant stay. Unfortunately the national electricity board did some maintenance work and power was cut off for a few hours during midnight. Not hotel’s fault. Went to nearby shopping mall and IKEA.

cleanliness is ok n room smells good, great location easily accesible by mrt and walking distance to the curve, ipc mall & ikea. comfy bed , big mirror, tv channels is consider ok even though not in HD.
room 838, one issue water drain on our sink very slow.
things to improve: old furniture, breakfast can have more variety

My partner and I recently enjoyed a staycation at Royal Chulan Hotel Damansara, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of calm that immediately set the tone for a relaxing escape.
The ambience of the hotel is elegant yet cozy perfect for couples looking to unwind. Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with modern touches and traditional Malaysian charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable except for the pillows not very comfortable can and we especially loved the large windows offering beautiful views of the Damansara skyline.
One small area for improvement would be the pillows and bes linen they seemed quite old and could definitely benefit from an upgrade to match the overall comfort of the room. It wasn’t a major issue, but fresher pillows and bed linen would really elevate the sleeping experience.
What truly made our stay memorable was the attention to detail and thoughtful service. The staff were always courteous, helpful, and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay.

The location is great and the hotel room is spacious, but the cleanliness needs improvement — there was quite a bit of dust and I even found hair from other guests on the pillow cover

This hotel is very old. It needs major renovation, the room that i stayed was very dusty, i can see dust on all corners of the room..some tiles were popping up...this was so bad for a 4 star hotel.. not a good stay experience for me. Some furnitures and fittings collects dust which the management can look into to replace them to. The room smells dust and stuffy.

Blackout curtain is toned and rotten, shower room is ponding when shower, water slip into the room. Pillow are old and smiley, mattress are old and uncomfortable. Shower room tiles wall is fungus.
