We have been repeat customers of the Wellness Hotel Waldsagmuhle over a period of 15 years. It is so lovely that although we live in Australia, our European visits always include a trip to this hidden gem in the Schwarz Wald (Black Forrest), if only to have a coffee and one of their glorious pieces of Black Forrest Cake. We know they are celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year, and we want to wish Sabine and her family a wonderful celebration and to say we wish we could ne there. Hier Leben die Chefs Gastlichkeit mal wieder vor und schauen nicht nur zu wie viele Gastronomen / Hoteliers. Endlich mal wieder ein Familienhotel das mit Herz, Passion und gelernter Fachkompetenz in allen Bereichen geführt und gelebt wird. Vielleicht wiederhole ich mich aber die Familie Ziegler hat Ihren eigenen gelebten Eigenanspruch in ihrem Haus mehr als umgesetzt und dabei ihr gesamtes Team mit ins Boot genommen. Beispielhaft und ein ganz grosses BRAVO. Wir würden auch mehr Sterne vergeben als 5. Wer wissen möchte wie sich ein tolles Preis/ Leistungsverhälntis darstellt, soll hier mal in das Hotel Waldsägmühle hinfahren. Hier werden wieder mal Maßstäbe gesetzt. Ja das gibts noch. Pro: Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeitenden, super bequeme Betten, Essen super lecker. Contra: Thermenbereich sowie das Wasser Außen und Innen zu kalt. Nachts im Zimmer trotz ausgeschalteter Heizung und offenem Fenster mit Schweißperlen aufgewacht, weil es viel zu heiß war. Nicht für Allergiker geeignet, da Hunde erlaubt sind was bei dem Hochfloor Teppich im Zimmer zu zusätzlichen Problemen führt. Wenn man Wellness und Entspannung sucht, ist es wegen der vielen Kinder und der Lautstärke weniger geeignet. Für eine Kosmetikbehandlung viel Geld bezahlt, leider wurde beim ersten Anstrich der Fingernägel nicht lange genug gewartet und direkt drüber lackiert - das Ergebnis war entsprechend. Von 14 bis 17 Uhr wird im Bistro Essen serviert, nur schade, dass es nicht auch entsprechend aufgefüllt wurde - nach einer Anwendung um 15 Uhr war schon das meiste leer.

Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen TOP, Therme mit Pools alles sehr sauber. Auf Wünsche eingegangen.

Magnifique séjour, dans un endroit calme et idyllique. La cuisine est raffinée et généreuse. L'espace piscine et spa au top. Nous y allons depuis quelques années et nous y retournerons.

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Herausragende Küche am Abend. Frühstücksbuffet sehr vielfältig. Standard Doppelzimmer war sauber. Einziger Kritikpunkt war das Bett. Die Matratze war sehr weich und durchgelegen.
