The place is located on the steep hill on the outskirts of the village - to get there requires some physical prowess. The surroundings are iffy - lots of garbage strewn around, but at least you get to see how the locals live. We were promised that somebody would meet us at the pier - we could not find a person and had to walk 20 min to the place. On the positive side the owner was quite pleasant during our stay and was genuinely interested in our plans. The breakfast was good - stick to the fried rice or just plain eggs. The French toast was just a toast (nothing remotely French about it). You could hear the music emanating from the beach till the early morning (2-3 AM) but it was manageable. All in all, I would stay elsewhere if I were to recommend a place to stay.

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights and loved it. Conveniently located outside of Ton Sai and the busy parts of the island, the owner and his family were super hospitable. The rooms were spacious, hot water was nice and the AC was gold. Overall, an enjoyable and affordable stay.

We chose this hotel for the view, secluded location and affordable price. On arrival we had a great view but just a bench on the balcony to enjoy it. But it is earned at the end of a very steep climb of around ten minutes from the center of Tonsaï. The cabins/rooms are in the middle of welcome trees where monkeys roamed around. On the other hand, despite the isolation, we totally "enjoyed" the very noisy evenings on the beaches below until 3 a.m.... Add poor soundproofing and curtains that do not cut out the light and I would especially recommend this hotel is for young people. Decent room for the price. Staff doing the essentials but no more. To bring luggage up to the hotel when we arrived which was very welcome.

Este alojamiento no se corresponde en nada con lo que se anuncia. Es una chabola en el vertedero de Phi Phi. Sucio, poco cuidado, inseguro (una niña de menos de un año cayó de una pasarela de metro y medio y no se golpeó con una piedra en la cara de milagro), mala cocina ("arroz frito" nefasto) y el peor trato del personal que he tenido nunca. Además, el peor ruido de la fiesta en toda la isla. Comentamos el primer día que no teníamos agua caliente, y la mujer que se ve en la foto se rió de nosotros y hacía burlas muy exageradas: "not hot shower". Estuvimos llamando al dueño para exigir un reembolso de las últimas noches (ya quen fue la solución que nos peopuso Booking), pero nunca nos atendió al teléfono. Muy lejos de preocuparse o comentarnos algo cuando nos vio la mañana siguiente, pasamos el resto de días que ni siquiera nos decía buenos días. Es la relación más surrealista que tuvimos nunca con nuestros hosts. De los 4 desayunos que teníamos, solo hicimos uno, ya que el arroz frito simplemente era un arroz blanco con zanahoria, tomate y piña frios, y un sabor muy desagradable. Mención también para Booking, que lejos de buscarnos una solución, nos dejaron tirados. Además, permite que establecimientos se anuncien con servicio de habitaciones y de los 4 días, no la hicieron ni una vez. Es decir, anuncian un timo.

Es un timo, no recomiendo a nadie alojarse aquí. Es una chabola mugrienta, que huele mal, mal ubicada, lejos y aún así con lo peor del sonido de la fiesta. No cumplen nada de lo que anuncian en Booking. El primer día comentamos a la señora que adjunto en una foto (quien está en la “recepción” de la chabola) que no hay agua caliente. Se rió en nuestra cara y nos dijo que no había en toda la isla. Es mentira. Por preguntar si podían venir a mirarlo, nos hizo bullying un rato, haciéndonos burlas en inglés en nuestra cara, repitiendo: “not hoy shower, not hot shower”, riéndose. Intentamos llamar al dueño, jamás nos atendió. En booking dice servicio de habitaciones entre las condiciones, es mentira, no entraron ni una vez. Ya no nos gastamos en reclamar ni pedir, no había con quien hablar. El desayuno desagradable, pedimos arroz frito y nos vino arroz blanco mezclado con zanahoria rallada y tomates crudos. Eso es todo. Entre eso y la actitud de esta señora, no volvimos a intentar desayunar allí. De las peores experiencias que hemos tenido. Hay opciones mucho mejores para alojarse en Phi Phi y no necesariamente más caras. Huir de aquí.
