2-Star Hotels in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

Very clean and tidy hostel in a great location. My bed was very comfortable and the free breakfast provided was just tea, coffee and toast with spreads, very basic. Wifi worked ok and the hostel hires out bicycles and motorcycles for a very reasonable rate. The only reason I did not give this hostel a 5 star rating is because there was no hand soap in the bathrooms. Basic hygiene like handsoap should always be provided.

We were welcomed here by a hugely hearty lady, who was warm, friendly and immediately picked up a map of Ayutthaya, pointing out the main attractions and even suggesting a route. And she made us warm for a boat trip over the river, with stops at three temples, the most beautiful at sunset. We were even picked up free by a tuktuk that brought us to the boat. Often when Thai you try to convince for something like this, it's too nice to be true, but this was really the difficulty and for a very correct price. - there was a very unpleasant smell in the common spaces. Fortunately we had a private room in another building where it wasn't. - The bed was very hard, even the sleep train was better. I would not really like to say breakfast included, it was coffee with a cookie, but for one night, for just 16 euros, we thought it was good enough.

Friendly staff and the price is worth it! I have been here for 3 times. This place near the city and easy to find a food. There're bike cycle for rent. Good for family or friend trip because there is a room for 3 in 1 and 4 in 1 also.

Well-run homestay with a hostess who knows how to take care of the guests in the best possible way. Select the room with aircon for best comfort. Believe me, you don't want to go for the fan-only room in this lovely establishment. You want to go to full mile and have it all. The breakfast is hearty and prepared with utmost dedication. The location is superb for backpackers waiting for their next train to Chiang Mai, or wherever they are destined to go. The Wifi was surprisingly leopard-like fast in an old Thai style house like this. The shared bathroom is not an issue if you don't have a bad stomach and the parking space are plentiful if you are willing to walk the extra steps. Therefore, I would not hesitate to recommend this place, A slight deduction has been made due to very thin wall, thus you can hear every gossip from your neighbor.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location is close to Ayutthaya Historical Park but pretty far from the airport. Very clean. Would love to have supplies of hand towels, toothbrush and toothpaste. Quite a number of eateries in the vicinity, the best being a cafe called Spring which serves yummy croissants and coffee.

This is a family run homestay/Airbnb by a Thai/German retired couple. Owner assisted us to book a tuk tuk for B$1000 for half a day usage to visit the temples and etc for 2 days. Room was clean enough with towels and etc. Rooms are like resort style so really comfortable. Breakfast was not included but may arrange with the owner the day before for a fee if required. Owner is very friendly and shared with us where to go and what to see around Ayutthaya with we really appreciate it. Location is not near the town centre so must take a taxi or tuk tuk. Overall we are happy with our stay.

The second time I came, the boss was still the mixed-race gentleman with a fluent smile in English. I especially like his yard, quiet, but the room is not big, the single room is slightly cramped. The location is very close to the historical park.

Pension located on the opposite side of Ayuttaya on the river. Far from the actual event and history park, taxi needed. At my arrival, the booking was not found, discussions. Communication difficult because no English was spoken ...All was processed by language message in the translator on the phone which I was kept to read and answer 🙈 rooms suitable, gross but old and overwhelmed bbr.I had a ”Junior suite” which corresponded to a larger room with a sofa. Facility was stitched up to the breakfast area outside ... was covered ... breakfast was ok, very urban but with fresh egg food that were also good when the translation of the desire was also right. Grave riders had a little effort with the location...I had several dismissals ...All in all ...No recommendation

In the city where I went to heal, I was healed by friendly hospitality. I was impressed that the lobby staff tried to help us in any way possible with our questions. Ayutthaya itself is a small city, so I think the lodging location will be similar!

We were going from Bangkok by train to Chiang Mai and decided to spend the day in Ayutthaia. We take the day train (from 7:00) and arrive in the city, and we have to take a transport to the hostel (about 3km) that cost 100bt (less than $4). Positive: very clean. There is a very friendly and careful receptionist. Beds with garden, light and takes. There is a small but pleasant place to stay with. We don't spend the night so I can't talk about breakfast. As for the location, in Ayutthaya everything is spread, you need to pick up or scooter or bike or combine a walk with drivers to locomote. Tb I liked the security at the doors of the rooms (controlled access). It has shampoo and sabbon available in the bathroom. The bad side is that they do not offer bathing towels. The space inside the box to change clothes is uncomfortable because it is all wet, it has no dry area. The air conditioning of the room is freezing, even exaggerated. Despite the above points, the cost of leaving the luggage, taking a bath and slipping before the train trip is valuable.
