This is my eleventh stay at this resort. I usually choose InterContinental because the pool is great, the food is consistent, and the service is fantastic . I would say as a young couple or solo traveler, this may not be the resort for you as there are many large groups of families that were here during my stay. One of the children knocked over a whole kraft of sangria right after I received it, and I had to pay full price for another one. Yes, for 100 extra a night, I was offered to use another private pool. Another plus is the resort credit for 200 USD I received an additional 65 USD
For families 10/10 but not so much for a solo traveler that wants a quiet pool or beach day.

Firstly, the hotel is beautiful and the swimming pool is nice. My family enjoyed the facilities there especially the buffet breakfast, there are many options and we are happy with that. However, the cleanliness is something that I couldn’t imagine. There were so many stains in the wash basin, and some rubbish behind the room door in the living room as I stayed in the one room residential, also, when I change a new toilet paper roll, there’s a fake eyelash sticking on the toilet paper roll, I was scared!! Although I texted them and they reacted immediately, I’m still disappointed as I couldn’t believe that would happen in such a global international resort!

The services and the food (breakfast / Vietnamese food / pizza at pool side) are very good. The spa is amazing and I joined 2 workshop, the staff is very nice. The only recommendation is need to open more reception for check in and out during the peak hour ( ps the staff will guide you to sofa and prepare welcome drink)

absolute love the Intercon hotel three nights stay with the warm courteous staff, wide range varieties of breakfast, very kid friendly five-star hotel, our family love the beach, the kid pool and the kid activities assigned each day, it created loads of memories and the hotel room is really spacious and clean as well. we have no doubt to live it again if we come to PhuQuoc again!
