Movenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc is a gem in northern Phu Quoc! The resort’s tropical garden setting is absolutely stunning—lush greenery, coconut trees, and well-maintained lawns create a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool is clean and crystal-clear, perfect for lounging and soaking up the sun. The beach is just a short walk away with soft sand, and lying on the beach chairs in the morning or afternoon to enjoy the sea breeze and ocean views is pure bliss. Rooms are spacious, fully equipped, and modern, with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The highlight is the private balcony offering direct ocean views—watching the sunrise or sunset here is unforgettable! The breakfast buffet is outstanding, featuring a wide variety of Western dishes, fresh seafood, and international cuisines. All ingredients are fresh and delicious, catering to different taste preferences. The resort’s fitness center is well-equipped with treadmills and strength-training equipment, great for keeping up with workouts during your trip. It’s conveniently located near popular attractions like the zoo and Grand World, easily accessible by car. The nearby z Market is perfect for buying local souvenirs, and the local noodle shop across from the supermarket comes highly recommended—authentic flavor at an affordable price, ideal for a change from Western food. Good value, great breakfast buffet, and nice pool area. Overall, we had a good stay. Although, the ocean water on this part of the island was just average, but the beach itself was clean.

Extremely good value for money! Though a bit more remote than most other resorts, it’s only a 20 min ride from the main spots (e.g. night market) Rooms are well furnished and clean, also offers a great view of the ocean Resort facilities are new and the pool is big with ample number of beach chairs The highlight was definitely the buffet breakfast - a wide variety of food. Our favourite was the different choice of Vietnamese noodles served everyday. All in all impressive for the price, will be back.

My experience at Movenpick in Phu Quoc was absolutely delightful! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and outstanding service that made me feel truly appreciated. The breakfast buffet was remarkable, offering an extensive selection of delectable dishes that pleased every palate—each morning was a delightful feast! The rooms were elegant and cozy, featuring beautiful decor that created a serene ambiance. I particularly loved the breathtaking views from my accommodation, which provided a perfect setting for my escape.

Hmmm…overall is a good hotel. However, I don’t feel it is a 5 star worthy rated hotel. We booked for 3 night stay and by the second day, while I was having shower, I ran out of shower gel. The amenities in rooms should be enough for the stay. The guests shouldn’t have to experience leaving the shower without a complete bath. Perhaps the bottles should be transparent so that the house keeping staff can easily see to replenish or not. The other issue we had was the staff at the bar doesn’t know the menu at all. We asked 3 times if the burger was beef, and she told us it was pork. We find it hard to believe but she insisted it was..so I ordered the fish and chips instead but a few minutes later a waiter delivered a burger to the table next to us and I asked the waiter if it was beef burger and he said yes. We try to change our order with another waiter and he tried to talk us out of it and told us it was 20 minutes wait simply because the fish and chips is ready. That’s very disappointing. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this one missed the mark!! Definitely not 5 star service Having said all the able, hands down to their breakfast spread! Super delicious and the varieties is endless!

We had a wonderful stay at your hotel! The room was spotless, the swimming pool was spacious, and the staff were always friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was excellent — it offered a wide variety of options and changed daily, which made every morning a pleasant surprise. We stayed for four nights and were very satisfied with the entire experience. We would definitely love to come back again in the future!
