Best Phu Quoc Island Hotels

"I really enjoyed our stay here. The pool is right beside the beach and there’s a lot of sun chairs with umbrellas/palm trees for shade. There’s a beach bar and we spent so much time just lounging down here. The breakfast was really good, not too much but lots of variety. Housekeeping and reception were great. Above the hotel on the main drag is a lot of local restaurants and shops that we ate at. We rented motorcycles for 150,000/day and cruised the island. I was impressed how the reception treated us with more trust than other places I’ve stayed at. Only downside, which isn’t the hotel’s fault, is the ocean water isn’t super clean. Very murky and has some algae that sting, but that’s everywhere in Phu Quoc I think. Sunsets were great 😊"

"First of all, the hotel is located by the coast, a bit remote. Although it is convenient to take a taxi, it takes 20-30 minutes to go to the central town (near the night market), and there is nothing to visit in the night market, so tourists who choose here usually plan to stay in the hotel to rest and do activities instead of going out frequently. The overall decoration of the hotel is primitive and wild, which I love. There will be some dust on the way to the reef house, so everyone can wear slippers all the way, no need to wear nice shoes. The reception is next to the on the Rock restaurant. There are welcome drinks at checkin, which is also very nice to rest while looking at the coastline. We arrived at one o'clock on the day of arrival, but we didn't expect that the room was ready, so we checked in early, which is a plus for service! If you are traveling with more than two people or less than four people, or a family, I strongly recommend staying in the reef house because the space is super large, both rooms have private bathrooms, and the lounge area can hold large parties. It's super worthwhile. Living in this kind of holiday home that maintains the original ecology, you must be mentally prepared to coexist with various insects. Although there is no air conditioning in the room, it is quite cool to install a mini air cooler above the mosquito net. The hotel provides free shuttle to and from the town, live music and outdoor movies in the evening, and free yoga classes in the morning. Overall, the activities are enough for 1-2 days."

"The location of the hotel is very good. You can reach the beach in a few minutes' walk. Walking about ten meters to the left of the hotel entrance is Phu Quoc Night Market. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. It only takes 15 minutes by car from the airport."

"very hospitable and wonderful hotel. I liked everything, from the size of the room which after Ho Chi Minh is really big, to the beach, which is a wild beach and the island’s people go there to swim, but the fact of the matter is that the beaches adjacent to the hotels are full of employees who watch your every step and here there are few people only, a good local bar and excellent Saigon coffee , the water in the sea has always been warm. from hotel till beach is 7-10 min by slow step. The hotel pool was clean and after sunset everyone always went out to swim and dive. The room was cleaned every day, clean towels, new bottles of water. We wanted to make a fish barbecue but we had no experience for making fare & a hotel employee helped us. he went and bought fuel and helped light the coals. Without him it definitely wouldn’t have happened.....we are very glad that we chose Aurora House to stay."

"My family had a very present stay at the hotel ( Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort). Would like to give score 8/10 to the hotel and recommend to friends. We highly appreciate the warm and welcoming hospitality service, especially most of staff at hotel’s lobby , the phone operator, the housekeeping , internal transport driver between the villa to the lobby and to breakfast restaurant, the maintenance repair staff, the staff at the breakfast restaurant. Most of them are very friendly, helpful, polite, and vey efficient.  The diversity of food and the food quality and taste are excellent in Dining room service and the breakfast restaurant.  I would highly recommend my friends and relatives to stay at the hotel in the near future if the hotel has more improvement on  the hot water system and the drainage system at the bathroom. During our stay in the hotel , my villa number is 6132, the hot water system was not stable which made not enough hot water for the next person taking shower or had a bath at the bathtub. We should be grateful if it could be fixed to make sure enough hot water for all 7 people having hot water taking shower .  Besides that , the drainage system should be improved as well because during my stay the ground floor king bed size room , once taking a shower, the water could not be discharged into the drain well, causing flooding. It made some unpleasant experiencer during our stay.  At last, we found that there was a large tile falling off in the private swimming pool in our villa. Fortunately, no one was injured. We forgot to inform the hotel as it happened in the last two days of our stay. Would you please pass the message to the hotel and hope that the hotel could pay attention in checking and maintenance the private swimming pool in the villa carefully. The food is delicious, there are dishes for different countries and different taste preferences, there is also a menu for children! I recommend this hotel for visiting! "Crowded breakfast buffet during CNY and it’s annoying with flies flying around the food all the time. There were only a few SUP boards and sometimes I had to wait for one. Some bikes were in bad conditions like flat tires or rusted wheels. Extremely limited choices for in room dining! Staff were generally helpful except one guy in the reception to whom I asked for the key to to the arrival and departure Lounge but he gave me an invalid one!"

"Our stay at Pullman was very comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was clean and big enough for our family. During our 10 day stay we were never bored with the superb and diverse breakfast buffet. There were western and eastern style dishes prepared with quality ingredients. The restaurants, pool bar and room service foods were delicious though a bit expensive compared to local restaurants. The spa was professional and affordable. We ended up getting spa treatments twice! The pool was huge with different areas for children and adults including a small water park for the kids. Our children also enjoyed the indoor playground, especially the activities organized by their attentive staff. The Pullman staff were all professional, attentive, and caring towards their guests. For our wedding anniversary, they greeted us with a delicious desert and personalized card in our room. We had a minor noise complaint regarding the restaurant upstairs. They solved the noise issue immediately and gifted us with a free bottle of wine. The spa staff was professional and attentive to our needs. Pullman Resort is near the airport with free transportation back and forth. It is also near Sao Beach and Sunset Town, but far from other tourist spots in the north. The only negative was trash found on the beach. While we were there the waves were rough and probably brought in the trash."

Our daughter couldn’t celebrate her birthday on the actual day due to exams in Hong Kong, but the hotel kindly surprised her with chocolates a few days later—we truly appreciated this sweet gesture! We especially loved the complimentary beach tools and kayaks available for guests. Special thanks to supervisor Trunh and Dung for their exceptional service—they were very attentive and provided clear, detailed explanations whenever we had questions.
