Hot Springs Hotels in Phuket

Enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express. A much better location to the beach, restaurants/ eateries, clean massages and shopping than the Holiday Inn resort. The breakfast was great a lot of variety and the food was fresh, the egg stations made great omelettes 👍🏼. Front office staff needs to be better trained especially the night shift crew, I needed help 1 night when I realised my lights in the room could not be switched on even after placing my key card in, she was SHOUTING on the phone that I needed to put my card in. Which I already did. Anyway, I requested for a maintenance crew to help and she used another card and it worked. 👍🏼 That front office staff seemed sheepish when she saw me but no apology for her rude shouting on the phone. I am guessing she had a very bad evening or insufficient sleep to work at the night shift causing the RUDE outburst. Other than that it was great👍🏼👍🏼.. Holiday Inn Express, please take care of your staff’s mental wellness. 😟😔

Overall the resort is excellent! Breakfast spread is good and a lot of variety. Location of the beach is at the quieter side, away from the crowds. But there is still a local thai place next to it if you don't want to eat in (for any reason). The only bad spot I had here was the service! We arrived very late at night and my husband was rushing out for dinner. So the front desk staff asked me to download the app, but failed to inform me that I need to get it scanned to get any services for the room. Fast forward to my third day, and my daughter insisted on room service. We tried to find a menu in the room for 15 mins (there were some qr codes there on hotel info, but nothing on room service). Next i called for room service from the phone, it connected me to a CALL CENTER. The person there tried to ”transfer” me to room service when I explained that I could not find the menu on the app as she was guidng me. NOBODY picked up the line. I tried this 3-4x, and each time the call center just kept insisting to follow this process. Finally, i sent my husband and daughter to a resturant to explain the problem, and order there and just deliver the food. They refused, and while they said they would check, they were just left standing there until they came back. Finally,i was so angry that I went to front desk to complain, asked to speak to a MANAGER (as there were now 3 points of service failure). They finally called my room and send a normal waiter/person to apologize but he was only the person in charge of room service. Until I left, no manager came up to me to apoligize for so many issues and just leftit to each individual front staff, who were anyways resposible for these mistakes. NOT VERY GOOD SERVICE RECOVERY for a 4-5 star resort, which left me quite disappointed. I would still recommend the place, but don't expect too much help when things go wrong.

I booked this for my girlfriend and she has the best moment ! The rooms were huge , the food was amazing . The breakfast was fantastic! Next time I will travel with her

Second time here at Intercontinental Phuket and I’m still in awe. The resort is spacious, clean and filled with amenities and deserves the luxurious status. During our stay this time, we had some issues with the room but received exceptional hospitality. The manager on duty was prompt in communication and personally attended to our queries and provided us with a very fair solution. Can’t praise the hospitality and service enough at Intercontinental. The breakfast buffett and in-room dining are exceptional too. Will visit again.

It a very nice hotel. Even though the design might be from 30 years ago, its very well maintained. We also enjoyed the beautiful breakfast buffet spread with locally grown salads. I hope we can return soon.

We enjoyed staying here. So easy to go anywhere in Phuket town. Road in this areas are nice and no traffic. In hotel and place for us to bring our dog for a walks. Tak and Celina gave us really good information of hotel and great trip for things to do in Phuket. We definitely come back here if we visit Phuket again

Great hotel for family resort life. There is a great pool that flows through big chunks of the hotel. Water and facilities are clean and well maintained. It's close to the elephant sanctuary, and there's a good horse riding opportunity place nearby. There are some great Thai boxing instructors here if you're into that sort of thing. Ask for Phusin.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Amenities are pretty old but the service is superb. My child particularly loved the swimming pools. They even have kids’ games on weekdays where the kids can get free ice cream vouchers, my daughter enjoyed that as well. Location is a bit far from the hustle and bustle of Patong so walking with a kid may not be so convenient. We ended up renting a motorbike to move around. They have a shuttle to Jungceylon Mall as well. The beach view from my room is amazing and I might come here again on my next trip.

I didn't read any reviews before booking this hotel which I in hindsight probably should have. The resort is beautifully designed but a lot of parts seem like they have not been renovated for a long time. My initial hotel room was located very close to the restaurant and beach area. The location of the room was great which is probably the reason why the hotel gave me the room in the first place. However, it must be one of the most frequented rooms from what the interior looked like. From the wooden floors to the living room table, the wooden wardrobes and black tiles. Everything was either scratched, lost parts of the paint or told other stories of heavy usage. Even the shower handle was loose. Which is just not what you expect when you book a hotel in this price range that is a member of design hotels. That being said, when I reached out to reception to discuss the room, a member of the staff arrived within 10 minutes to show me around the resort, so I could take a look at other rooms. I ended up upgrading myself (with a very special deal that the hotel offered) into a superior room category and had the best stay after. The staff was very attentive and helpful in any situation and clearly did their best to make up for some flaws. I enjoyed meals in both restaurants, room service, I worked out in the gym, attended activity classes and had some spa treatments. All to my complete satisfaction. I wished I had checked into my second room right away because if I did, my overall experience would have been a lot different. Thanks again to all of the staff, you're doing an amazing job.

The hotel was decided because I wanted to take a day trip around the island and I found a beach nearby. This is expensive near Kamala Beach. The problem is the most terrible. The special requirements written when the hotel was set, it seems that the front desk of the hotel can't see it. Give it to the stairs or the restaurant room on the first floor. Most terribly, there were three power outages at night, and once I stopped for almost a quarter of an hour, and then I was taking a shower. The feeling was like the prelude to the horror incident in 007. The hotel that was noisy was suddenly quiet. I locked the doors and windows and saw a figure shaking in the garden. peat! The next day the hotel explained the typhoon effect. It may really be a typhoon. But I still want to say, rub!
