As all rooms were booked, reception has told us to stay in their second building across the road - hotel Neptuna Kata. It was not bad. We enjoyed our stay, good price and good location. Hotel has everything for short stay.

Suitable only for a short overnight stay, nothing more. For a family holiday, don't even think about it! - this is a flophouse. The room is small, located on a busy road, the windows do not keep out the sound, the room is dark and uncomfortable. The bathroom is completely dark! Of the advantages, it is next to Karon Beach and not far from Kata, the air conditioning works well in the room, as well as good water pressure in the shower and hot water. The sink drained poorly.

Missing fire alarm (lucky we had our own), broken toilet seat, stoppage in the sink right from the start. Towels were changed daily but smelled strongly of urine. Dirty baby bed. The windows rattled from the traffic, but after we pressed paper around them it was a little better. Absolutely only the essentials but also for little money. The location is good in Kata, close to the beach, but the city is now only full of gaping unpleasant Russians and therefore not something we will go to again

we arrived at night by train, it's less than 5 minutes walk from the station to the hotel, we were met by a hospitable hostess, the room had everything we needed. the ferry crossing is right behind the hotel. I would like to separately mention the wonderful design of the hotel😊
