I had the worst experience with the check-in staff at The ***** Patong, particularly with Mr. Arm. I had booked two rooms and specifically requested that they be side by side. The hotel confirmed this arrangement beforehand. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the rooms were far apart. When I showed Mr. Arm the confirmation, he reassigned us to rooms that were even further away from each other.
Despite explaining that I was traveling with kids, he showed no consideration and gave us rooms in very poor condition. To make matters worse, we checked in at 3:30 PM, but my friend, who checked in an hour later and didn’t book through Trip.com, was assigned a room right next to mine. It seems that Trip.com customers are treated unfairly at this hotel.
I also tried requesting a room change the next day due to the unacceptable condition of our rooms, but the staff refused to listen. I’ve stayed in over 150 hotels with my family, and I’ve never experienced such poor service.
The ***** Patong was by far our worst hotel experience. I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone.
