Spa Hotels in Phuket

This hotel is very close to Karon beach, we can walk to the hotel in less than 5 minutes. We stayed in this hotel on a weekend so it is quite crowded during breakfast time and the pool usage rate is quite high here due to multiple water slides and kids pool

How do I start? Hmm, okay... The resort was superb! Im a person that will look into reviews comment about specific hotel. So I choose Mandarava since I read a lot of positive review about this resort! It was my superb time at here! The staff was friendly and kind! I love their foooodddd it was so damn nice and super fast!!! 💕💕💕😍😍😍 but the thing that need to be improvise is communication. I was a bit dissappointed when I have to bear the trouble becuase of their miscommunication between hotel and trips.com agency. But nevertheless I enjoyed my time here!

Good location but be aware it’s on the east of the island and Patong etc., on the west. Rawai beach was certainly lacking (if we found the right place - according to Google). Hotel pools are good, staff are excellent, free water a bonus. On the downside, tv lost connection on day two and internal phone not connected, but not necessary.  The price paid with website was certainly a bargain and would stay again without hesitation

Booked a family room and got room 201 with a king bed and a queen bed. The pool view room looks exactly like in the description, very large with a balcony. They just changed the shower set and the toilet so both are brand new. Very good bed quality and linen. We slept so well. Simple buffet is good enough to start the day. Front Desk staff are very welcoming and efficient. Fast check in and out. I think the man who came for a short conversation in the restaurant is the cook. Another man wearing short pants with no shirt who went into the kitchen and went out looks like manager. Good parking space. There’s a short walk from the main street to hotel Reception. When you cross their beautiful grass garden, you’ll see the stairs. Walk up a few steps and walk pass another garden, you’ll see the ocean. Water was high this morning so we didn’t go down. Not sure if water level will be lower in the afternoon or not. One of my photos shows the hotel viewed from the seaside.

Really great stay. Good facilities, gorgeous breakfast, really nice staff. Really great value for Bathroom tiles and a few of the towels could have been a bit cleaner but the staff quickly replaced everything. In a quieter part of Kata but still 10 minute walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes to the night market. Loads of massage places and some restaurants, pharmacies and 7 eleven on the road outside the hotel. 3-4 cats are residents of the property but they don't come up to people. Would happily stay here again.

We had a great stayed at your hotel and would like to thank to all crew members from Novotel Vintage, everything is perfect, love the cooling lobby, everyone is wearing a smile to welcome us, we feel so warm just like back home. Front desk lady named Front is really helpful, lady at lounge named Palm made me nice Margarita too, I really appreciate the house keeping who arranged the day bed for my kid, and I'm so thrilled with the birthday decoration and lovely cake,,it truly made my day after my whole day island hopping, many thanks to all of u, we will definitely be back again for our next trip. Our stay at Sawasdee was outstanding. The hotel offers top-notch services, spotless cleanliness, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Staff members were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly valued. The cuisine was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious Thai and international dishes. Entertainment and activities added extra charm to our experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking luxury, comfort, and authentic hospitality at Kata Beach!

Very cool hotel with possibility use pool just from your suite (if you live on first floor). Good breakfast, good location near Kata beach.

Overall, the Holiday Inn is a good hotel. The one thing that is their biggest weakness is breakfast. It’s a very small room for too many people and the food. Selection is not very good. I read that on all the reviews before I stayed there so apparently the hotel is not going to fix this.  But the price of the hotel and the location are very good

My husband and I stayed at this resort in mid-April 2025, over the Good Friday/Easter weekend. Everything was incredible and we enjoyed pretty much everything! Let me break it down: 1. Hotel location Although it takes 1.5 hours from Phuket airport, our Grab ride was smooth and comfy. Roads are decent and after a quick nap, we arrived at Avista Grande. The hotel sits conveniently along Karon Beach, with a footpath from the lobby to the main street. There, you’ll find cheap eats, local Thai food with fresh seafood (we ate at a little restaurant called The Twin twice in 4 days!), and the beach. The resort’s proximity to the clean beach is perfect for a lazy afternoon or catching the sunset. A 10-15 min stroll leads to massage and manicure spots, pharmacies, restaurants, and the Kata night market — which has fresh and CLEAN seafood! 2. The Hotel Avista Grande is modern, thoughtfully designed, and generally well-kept. When it rained, staff offered umbrellas and cleared puddles quickly. The pool is gorgeous with ample lounging areas, though the sunbeds get snapped up fast! There’s also a decent gym — my husband used it once and had a good workout. 3. The Food The hotel’s restaurants are solid. For our Asian tastebuds, the food wasn’t overly salty or sweet. The breakfast buffet had great variety — including a full honeycomb you can chisel off for your pancakes or yogurt! We especially loved the egg and salad stations, complete with jars of pickled veggies for a tangy crunch. We also tried Chard, the poolside restaurant where you can dip your toes in the water as you dine. We had dinner on a Friday night when there was a fire show — magical vibes under the stars. Prices were reasonable for a steak, truffle pizza, and a bottle of red. Our favourite spot though? The swim-up bar in the pool. Prices were fair for draft beers, mango smoothies, and pina coladas. Unlike some beach bars where cocktails are mostly syrup, the drinks here were legit. We ended up ordering from the swim-up bar every single day — it was our happy place. 4. The Room We booked a Deluxe Room with a balcony facing the pool. Small touches made a big impression: the rubber flip-flops had actual grip, and the large rattan beach bag was stylish and practical — perfect for lugging towels to the beach. (You can even buy it from the hotel if you love it as much as we did!) The balcony had towel racks too — super useful for drying swimsuits overnight, instead of in a humid bathroom. It’s a small feature, but it shows how guest-friendly the place is. The bathtub was a great bonus, and the shower had solid water pressure and stayed hot. Overall: We had a fantastic 4-day getaway at Avista Grande. I honestly wish we stayed longer. We only spotted one other Singaporean family during our stay (up to you if that’s a plus or minus — I loved it). Most guests were Caucasian families, and the only minor con was the number of young kids (under 18) who could get loud. If you’re not a fan of noisy mornings by the pool or at breakfast, just bring headphones or pick a quieter corner.
