My recent stay at VilaBasi, which is a homestay that includes a bookstore, library and a beautiful cat house, was in the garden of the VilaBasi campus in Tra Vinh Province. This homestay is a great choice for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life and enjoy a peaceful vacation in the Mekong Delta countryside. With the perfect combination of natural landscape, dedicated service, and unique cuisine, this is definitely an unforgettable experience for anyone who loves peace and exploring Khmer local culture. Mauvaise expérience. 1 nuit nous a suffit. Pourtant la région est magnifique. Il y a beaucoup mieux comme homestay dans le Delta.. Maison non entretenue dont la gestion est confiée à des woofers de passage sans aucune directive. Les rats sont chez eux, les plafonds de paille macules d'urine de rats ...on tente de dormir alors que les rats dansent ds les plafonds le tout dans les odeurs d'excrements de rongeurs.. difficile de trouver des restaurants à proximité pour s'échapper...définitivement pas pour nous. On a pourtant trouvé des homestay familiales géniales partout lors de notre séjour au Vietnam.
