Le Corrigot

It is a cozy B&B. The breakfast is not lavish but tasty. It is replenished a bit late and you can only have breakfast from 9am which is a bit late. Checking in is not very well indicated. There are a lot of cats walking around, also in the common areas, so the pillows are full of cat hair. It is also not always clear which areas the guests are allowed to enter (some areas belong exclusively to a rented room/gîte). The rooms are spacious and seem cozy. You can only pay in cash, which is a bit outdated these days. It is also best to have proof if you have paid a deposit and definitely check your bill!

very beautiful place typical of the Champagne villages of the Champagne village terroir very close to Epernay, in the heart of the magnificent vineyards in autumn! large room, very well decorated, bathroom arranged with ideas, calm hostess at the top welcome at the top copious breakfast, well stocked. Maybe add cold meats and cheeses from the region and put more homemade jams and I would have also seen a glass of champagne!!! but there it is the inveterate epicurean who speaks!

As soon as you enter you find yourself in an enchanted garden and little kittens welcome you for cuddles. The room assigned to us was comfortable and large. Everything very tidy and clean. Top breakfast. Hosts available and kind and respectful of privacy

I never write reviews of accommodation, but in the case of the "Corrigot" I unfortunately have to make an exception. I am not interested in denigrating the place, but perhaps in offering constructive criticism. When you are greeted with the first sentence, without a friendly greeting beforehand, that you can only pay the bill by check or cash, you hesitate for the first time. The second time is when you are shown the jacuzzi, before seeing the room, with foul-smelling water. The so-called "spa room" is tiny, damp and poorly cleaned. Accordingly, it smells strange. The Wifi did not work in the room or on its terrace. At breakfast, the first thing you are told is that you are only allowed two (!) croissants. The sparse buffet is also not replenished. The property is full of cats, which is cute but not necessarily pleasant for someone with allergies. It would be useful to know this in advance. You do not receive a receipt after paying the hotel bill - why? The highlight of the stay only appears 24 hours later, in the form of skin bites on the legs, which show the typical shape and arrangement of a specific vermin. It would be easy to create a little paradise in this charming place - with a little more cleanliness, professionalism and above all: friendliness
