I was given bank details to pay online for 2 nights (8th to 9th November 2024) which I did pay ZAR 1,400. On arrival on the night of 8th November, the receptionist informed me the money did not reflect on their account. Tired as I was travelling from Botswana, I had to make another payment using my credit card amounting to ZAR 1,000-fair enough for me by then. They promised to refund me accordingly. Once I got back to Botswana I contacted FNB (bank) and they gave me the proof of payment and the funds tracker (showing that the Hotel was deposited on the 29th November 2024). The Hotel have since told me they cannot assist me further, let alone to track the payment with their bank-Nedbank to investigate the transaction, given the fund tracker I gave them. I am disappointed in the way the matter was handled and I am still left with questions.
