This place has very high value for money. The owners are sweet and caring, and the rooms are basic but have everything you need. There's a little quiet courtyard to hang out in. While it's in the outskirts of the ancient city, it's still within the walls. This part of the ancient city is much quieter than the center, which has its benefits, and it's still a short walk to the attractions. Furthermore it's very easy to get to and from other locations with bus/taxi as it's very close to the roads just outside the wall.

Yes, the aunt and uncle are very nice. They even let me ride my own electric bike. The room is clean and sanitary. It is very close to the place where I saw Pingyao again. It only takes five minutes to get there.

Sleeping on the big kang is very relaxing. You can see it when you turn left after entering from the west gate. The environment of the small courtyard is good and very clean. However, the dental equipment provided is not very good and sheds hair. I hope it can be improved.
