I was here just before the New Year. It is wonderful place in case you like authentical style. It is real aincient classical chinese house in the area with three yards. I lived in the upper part of the hotel, so called women's section of traditional house (second floor behind the high wall). The room was furnished with REAL old chinese furniture , including traditional bed and sofa with small table. But there are all nessesary conviniencies. Hot water all the time, heater abd conditioneer. It was very warm in the room and you can control the heat level. There is cafe in the hotel with very tasty and cheap food including fresh vegetables salads. The host was very hospitable and helpful. Organized transfer from the airport at arrival and to railway station at departure.
Drinking water supply in bottles was unlimited. She provided me with map of the city with detailed comments in English.
