Pirna, also called the gateway to Saxon Switzerland, is about 15 minutes by car from Dresden.
From our accommodation you can go directly into the Malerweg. In about 25 minutes you will reach the Wagner Monument, at the site of which Wagner is said to have got the inspiration for Lohengrin. But the Richard Wagner sites (Castle and Lohengrinhaus) can be reached with a 15-minute walk.
Your accommodation is located about 4 km from Pirnas historic old town, is very quiet on a late Classicist, lovingly restored half-timbered farm. Unterkunft ist genau, wie beschrieben! Ein schönes altes Gebäude mit genau diesem Charme. Die Wohnung ist komplett ausgestattet. In der Küche brauchen nur die Einkäufe eingeräumt zu werden und fertig. Küche und Schlafzimmer verfügen über einen Fernseher, vom Schlafzimmer kommt man auf einen kleinen Balkon. In unserer Zeit hatten wir draußen bis zu über 30 Grad - in der Wohnung waren die Temperaturen moderat und gut aushaltbar. Die Fenster verfügen über Plisse‘ und Vorhang - was für Gäste, die es gewohnt sind im dunkeln zu schlafen - allerdings nicht ausreicht. Unser Auto stand die ganze Woche auf dem eigenen Parkplatz. Die Lage ist dörflich und ruhig- bedeutet aber das Einkäufe nicht in der Nachbarschaft möglich sind. Nach Pirna kommt man schnell mit dem Fahrrad, aber zur Not auch zu Fuß. Besonders positiv ist uns die Busverbindung aufgefallen. Mit der Gästekarte, die bei unserer Ankunft schon fertig ausgefüllt in der Wohnung lag - kann man alle Busse, die S-Bahn und auch Fähren benutzen. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist 5 Minuten entfernt und die Busse sind auf die Minute pünktlich. Da wir einen Wanderurlaub machten, waren wir jeden Tag mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs.Die Wohnung empfehlen wir gerne weiter. Der Vermieter ist nett und freundlich und gibt gerne Tipps zur Umgebung. Die erste Etappe des Malerweges kann man direkt von der Wohnung starten - ein Badesee ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Nettes altes Haus
Das Schlafzimmer konnte leider nicht richtig abgedunkelt werden. Das Bett war sehr alt, unbequem und laut, wenn sich jemand hat. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung

Entspannte Lage mit schnellen Verbindungen zu den umliegenden Wanderwegen, Dresden, etc.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Netter Empfang. Alles, was man braucht vorhanden. Gerne wieder.
