"Located two minutes from the railway station, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa within walking distance.
24 hour check in and English speaking staff.
The rooms are not big, but clean and comfortable) I travel alone and I have more than enough.
The bathroom has a shower cabin, which is difficult to access. For some this will be a big inconvenience.
I can’t say anything about breakfast ... I overslept it, it turns out to be until 9. So be careful."

"The hotel is clean but very worn out and even in its heyday I can’t fathom how this was ever 4 stars. The bed spreads don’t appear to have been washed in ages, the bathrooms are tiny and you can barely fit through the door to enter the shower (and I’m thin!). Sound insulation is also terrible. They need a serious revamp."

"I was stupid and accidentally booked the room 1 night before my actual stay. I was so frightened when the staff pointed it out. However he was soooo nice and still let me stay. I'm sooo grateful about that.
The hotel smells nice and is decorated tastefully with artistic theme - there were paintings all along the corridor. My room is huge, my bed is grand and comfy for a solo traveller like me, everything is extremely clean, facilities are neat and well maintained. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Pisa Centrale and Pisa Leaning Tower.
I'm a very happy guest. I'm so glad that I have chosen this hotel to stay for my Pisa trip. I will definitely stay here if I ever come back to explore Pisa again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a comfy stay, a sound sleep at affordable price in Pisa. I will share about this hotel on my blog about Pisa."

BBigPhoenixThe hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the train station and a 20-minute walk from the Pisa Tower. From here to the tower there is a very bustling and beautiful shopping area.
This is an old, ancient hotel, which has been renovated inside and the toilet area. The rooms are clean, with simple amenities. The elevator is a bit old, the furniture is a bit old.
The breakfast is great and quite rich, equivalent to the quality of a 4-star hotel.
For the price and what you get, I rate this hotel as worthy of 5 stars ++, the hotel has met most of the basic needs, with a great location, an above-expected breakfast and an affordable price.

GGuest UserHotel is cute. Would recommend Annex for couples, they are romantically decorated and a bit more separate. English speaking TV channels which is a bonus. Lovely location (ten mins away from tower etc). Most of all, the service / staff are wonderful. Only stayed one night so can’t say much more!

GGuest UserPerfect location by the river. Short walk to everything! A bit dated (and the beds could defenately be better), but with tons of charm and old history. Almost like a museum in its self. If i ever should come back to Pisa, i would love to stay at this hotel again.

NNixonBeing a first time business traveller to Italy and Pisa ,it was a wonderful journey , the hotel receptionist can speak English , hence is easy for us to communicate with them .
Pros :
- Is a strategic location during the stay in Pisa , 15 min walk to leaning tower of Pisa .
-Big applause to the receptionist Ms Tamara . She was very helpful , attentive and friendly during our stay at Grand Hotel Bonanno , she guide us to use the train from Pisa to Cinque terre, and lead us the direction to leaning tower of Pisa .The view of cinque terre was magnificent!
-Other than that she helps us arrange taxi to airport and to my client office .
- she was patient to answer all the request and question given by us .
-The buffet breakfast was excellent , many selection of choice .
Cons
- there is no complimentary for mineral water during the stay .
- the hotel was near to the railway station , hence you will easily hear the noise from outside however for me is fine with it .
-the water heater can be improve .
conclusion :
If I ever come back again to Pisa, Italy , I will definitely choose this hotel again .

GGuest UserIn the room I stayed in, when I turned on the water, it didn’t drain properly and would accumulate. The room's heating was suitable for winter, the breakfast was average, and there was some noise due to its excellent location. Overall, it is recommended for a standard stay of one or two nights with breakfast.

WWinnieHaving read mixed reviews on this hotel, i decided to give it a go as the price was reasonable for a large hotel with nice pool. Upon arrival, the front staff was fantastic, polite and helpful. We got upgraded to a larger room with balcony. The room was quite simple but clean. We had to request for slippers and toothbrushes as it is not provided unless you ask. We were extremely disappointed that the pool was closed even though it was 21°C and the sun was blazing hot. I chose this hotel so we could chill by the pool on the first day but obviously that didn't happen. The pool area was not maintained well maybe because of winter just before. It states in the website, there are two restaurants and bar but there was only one restaurant called Lumen. We went there the first night, the starters were excellent but the mains were very mediocre. The spaghetti was horrible, very soggy. Paying €150 for a meal for 3 if us was not really worth it as the mains were not good at all, and we had one dessert to share. Breakfast was not great, hot food option was not that nice. The bakery items were good though.
Overall, it was okay... esp for that price. Location is close to Pisa Tower (15mins walk) and 7 mins ride to Pisa Centrale Stazione. Taximove app is very reliable and we used it to get to station and airport at reasonable prices.

GGuest UserEverything is good. Although it is close to the airport, you can't walk there, you have to take a taxi!!! There are highways around, no sidewalks. It will be much cheaper to call a taxi yourself, and it will be much more expensive if the hotel calls a taxi on your behalf. Don't ask the hotel to call a taxi!

OOznslckWe arrived after 23. There was no receptionist. The self check in machine was not properly functioning. I waited an hour to check in because of the malfunctioning of the system. I was furious. But it was clean and close to airport.

PPurexitongParacetamolThe location is good, very close to the station. There are many restaurants nearby, including Chinese restaurants, and the prices are quite affordable in Italy. Although it scored a full 5 points, the internal facilities were average and overall lackluster.
