Tides was very nice to stay for the night . Very reasonably priced. Close to downtown and beach. Great stay in Pismo.

We had just pulled in from Dublin ca. Attending my (cement masons graduation) . A big milestone that accomplished completing the apprenticeship program. and we wanted to come to the central coast, which I love very much more than northern California coast and the southern California coast, to continue our celebration. We were calling for rooms to rent all the way from Dublin. And to no avail we kept getting (we have no vacancies. Finally we had mad it to Pismo and we still didn't have a room . We first went to the net and saw tides Ocean view and cottages incredibly had a vacancy. In believably amazed, we called and spoke to front desk and yes!!!!! Like a needle in a hay stack....we found a room with them! We really enjoyed ourselves for there I really thank y'all and appreciate y'all for your hospitality. I will be back

My partner and I booked the Oceanfront King Studio at The Tides for a little staycation, and it was exactly what we needed! Destiny at check-in was super friendly and gave us great tips about the area, we drove into downtown Pismo for dinner and later ordered dessert delivery from Blast & Brew, which was delicious and super convenient. The next morning, we woke up to the ocean breeze and sound of the waves, then took our coffee out to the small porch to soak in the view. Xander at the front desk gave us a late checkout, which made the morning even better! We will definitely be staying again!

The room was okay. I have to leave my review and expectations based on the price of the room ($111 per night). The sleeping area and bathroom are pretty small. No housekeeping service unless it’s requested. No one told us that so we were wondering why our room wasn’t cleaned. Only when I went to the front desk was I told it’s “upon request “. So, I had to take out my own trash and ask for clean towels. Lots of freeway noise, but that’s no fault of the hotel. Just be aware of that. Location is great. Just a few minutes to the pier and downtown area. Front desk staff were super nice. Parking is plentiful. The bed is horrible. Probably the cheapest mattress you can get. My back was in pain every morning when I got up. The only microwave oven is at the front office. None in the room. The tiny in-room refrigerator was adequate. Would I stay there again???? Probably yes, but I’d bring my memory foam mattress topper with me. Again, I had an “okay” stay based on the price.

Stayed one night here while the rest of the family camped. Staff was very friendly, beds extremely comfortable and the room very clean. Very nice furnishings in the room including small refrigerator, large TV and coffee fixings. Great views of the ocean and restaurant right next door. Would definitely stay here again, great find!

Had a wonderful time at this place. It was pictured as advertised. We stayed in the 2queen beds even though there was only 2 of us. Beach access is two vlos away down the stairs. It’s walkable to the main downtown area by beach access or down the main road. Only negative comment was the bathroom smelled musty. Maybe leave the door open for the next guests. Parking is easy.

Amazing And clean we had a great time with upstairs private deck for a great price. We will be coming back with our kids in the next few weeks. Would highly recommend it’s also right next to the beach and there is downtown with many places to eat, bowling, arcade, billiards, and the famous splash restaurant cafe with famous clam chowder
