A lovely one night stay, wish it had been longer. Extremely friendly staff, Karen in particular. Large comfortable room at the front, which faces the road, but very little disturbance from the train line at night. On-site parking, on-site bar with cosy lounge, delicious breakfast, warm rooms and plenty of hot water… what’s not to love?

Had a lovely 2 days at this hotel lovely room comfy bed very clean breakfast was very good lots of choice staff were very nice especially Karen who is an asset to the hotel was so lovely had such a laugh with her great value for money will certainly return and recommend to family and friends.

This was our third visit to the Acarsaid, and it certainly won't be our last. We booked a 2 night midweek stay for some chill out time. We were welcomed by Big Karen and given a room overlooking the hills. The room was large and spacious and, most importantly, for us, spotlessly clean as is the rest of the hotel. There is a well stocked tea tray in the room, tissues, and a hairdryer. There are plenty of little toiletries in the bathroom, and the towels are so fluffy. The bed was comfortable, and extra pillows were in the wardrobe if required. Breakfast is great, and you have full continental options . Hot food is cooked fresh to order. Tea, coffee, and toast are plentiful too. Richard is the owner and is also lovely. He is so friendly and welcoming, and both he and Karen are what make the Acarsaid. Pitlochry itself is stunning with lots to do and see, and the main street is literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel. See you again soon, Karen and Richard, and thank you for another wonderful stay.

We had a fabulous break at The Acarsaid. Big Karen is a wonderful host who made us very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting (and laughing) with her. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and breakfasts excellent. Even the weather was good

Just spent a very enjoyable night here. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent with loads of choices. The highlight……..Big Karen. She was very helpful and professional and boy, did she make us laugh. Thanks Karen for a memorable stay.

Very welcoming hotel, ample free parking, good room with large comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, nice lounge with fireplace and bar (nice and cosy!) very clean hotel in a great location. Stayed for just one night with my wife but we will be visiting again! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Big Karen made our visit exceptional, couldn't do enough for us. Went as guests left as friends. Bedrooms lovely, nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Shower amazing. Breakfast second to none, amazing choice. Will definitely visit again. Would recommend it for couples or families.

Room was very comfortable, I like the modern Scottish look. The little extras like tea/coffee making facilities are good but the Tassimo machine was an unexpected bonus. Also the box of Scottish chocolates was a lovely touch. Breakfast were very good with a wide choice of help yourself continental and a selection of cooked breakfasts freshly made to order.
