I was at this hotel at the end of the season, in the second half of October, so it might be that my experience is not completely the same as someone going, say, in August. Anyway, I was completely satisfied with the hotel. The price/quality ratio was very good for me, and I have no complaints at all with the hotel. It is located less than 5 minutes' walk from the beach and I had a nice balcony from which I could see the sea. The room was spacious and it had a real double bed, not two separate beds put together as often happens. It is in a quiet place even though just five minutes from the main street and center of the village. There are several shops, supermarkets and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Also, you can go walking along the coast, there is a very nice paved walk from which you see some stunning views, particularly at sunset. The staff was friendly and nice and I very much appreciated that they let me do a late check-out for free, wow! I liked everything, the only suggestion for improvement I have was the choice of jams for the breakfast, it could be better, also it would be nice to have a boiler in the room for making oneself tea. Overall I recommend.

Plakias is een bijzondere plek Mooi natuur . Veel klein strandjes in omgeving . Personeel van Porto hotel is vriendelijk en hulpzaam. SPA is klein en schoon!Messages die ik gekregen heb waren professioneel gedaan! Het waait veel, maar soms te harde wind, zo hard dat je niet kan zwemmen. 30 graden kan men makkelijk verdragen. Supermarkten zijn vol van fruit , groenten en plaatselijke producten. Er zijn genoeg café en restaurants Stranden zijn breed, schoon met alles wat je nodig hebt.

Je ne comprends pas que cet hôtel soit un 4 étoiles, je lui donne un 2 étoiles maximum. Au 1er coup d’œil de l’extérieur l’hôtel semble bien. Dès que l’on se promène, on constate rapidement que l’immeuble a besoin de beaucoup d’amour (rénovation). Tapis de chambre mouillé, toilette qui coule, bain thérapeutique dans la chambre qui est rouillé et il n’y a pas assez d’eau pour le remplir! Impossible de prendre une douche sans éclabousser l’eau partout. Je ne conseil aucunement cet hôtel aux voyageurs. Le seul point positif est qu’il est assez près du bord de mer et assez éloigné pour être dans un endroit calme.

Le Porto Plakias mérite difficilement ses quatre étoiles qu’il affiche abondamment partout. L’hôtel est à taille humaine mais la piscine sur le toit, avec une vue exceptionnelle, peut accueillir un couple. Par contre, la salle de petit déjeuner et, du coup, la piscine, sont dans l’hôtel d’à côté. De ce fait, l’avantage du petit hôtel (pas trop de chambres) est perdu et les abords de la piscine sont trop étroits pour accueillir l’ensemble des vacanciers qui voudraient en profiter pour se reposer ou lire, ou bronzer. D’ailleurs, regrettablement, tables et chaises sont en plastique L’équipement des chambres est rudimentaire : n’attendez pas de trouver une bouilloire (ni café ni thé), ou une clef pour le coffre car il est à louer (et votre ordinateur n’y tient pas). Le bar de la petite piscine est fermé. De même, le grand bar faisant face à la réception est toujours fermé. Seul le bar de la piscine de l’établissement d’à côté est ouvert, de 10h30 à 15h… L’isolation phonique de la porte des chambres est inexistante : il est possible que vous vous endormiez avec les derniers rentrés et vous réveilleriez avec les premiers partis et les valises qui roulent dans l’établissement. Pas véritablement de parking, juste quelques lignes blanches tracées au pied du talus de la propriété voisine. Il n’y a pas de ménage le dimanche.

Hôtel calme, à bonne distance du centre pour garantir un sommeil tranquille. La plage et la station de bus se situent à 300 m. Confortable et fonctionnel, à taille humaine. Le personnel est aimable. Seul bémol : l’utilisation du coffre-fort est payante. Piscine agréable. Bon séjour.

Μείναμε για ένα βράδυ.. Το δωμάτιο μας （309）ήταν πιο όμορφο από κοντά πάρα τις φωτογραφίες στο σαιτ.. Άψογη εξυπηρέτηση σε ο,τι χρειάστηκαμε απ τις κοπέλες στην ρεσεψιόν που ήταν πάντα με χαμόγελο! Καλές δουλειές!!
