excellent small hotel in a quiet area with plenty of restaurants close by. immaculately kept rooms and pool. always plenty of sunbeds. Effi the owner is very welcoming with a warm smile and provided a free fruit pack and bottle of wine in the room on arrival. will not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed at Esthisis because of good reviews. We were not disappointed. Very nice apartment. Very quiet place, we had the pool area for ourselves a lot of the time. The owners were very friendly and service minded. We have been at Crete many times, and Esthisis is one of the few with proper air condition. We will return :-) A tip: if you are looking for a good restaurant I will recommend Nostos and Olivi.

Have stayed at the Esthisis Suites several times but unfortunately will not be returning. Cannot fault the welcome but our suite was in desperate need of updating, Also a lot of large family groups taking over the pool area and being extremely noisy.

Suites are spacious, air conditioned, and fully furnished. Nice touches everywhere. Pool well maintained with plenty of lounge chairs, hardly any reason to leave if you don't want to. Quick walk (＜5 min) to village center with a supermarket, public bus stop, the beach and many outstanding restaurants. 20 minute bus ride to the Chania Bus Terminal where you can connect to/from the airport, other Crete cities or just walk downtown. You can buy bus tickets in advance or just pay on the bus (not true in all cities in Greece, but is here).

The suites were clean and very well taken care of. You would expect to pay a lot more in other touristy places with the ammenities provided. The pool was big enough for many people to be there at the same time. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Esthisis suites. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and the accommodation was first class. Very spacious and with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. The suites contained everything you needed for a great holiday and were very clean. The pool area was lovely and there were always sun beds available. Located up a small hill about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Platanias, the suites have a number of tavernas very close by. We will definitely return.

We returned after our first visit in 2019. We were welcomed as good friends and Efi was as charming, kind and helpful as ever. The appartment, with its lovely views, was first class, cleaned perfectly on a daily basis by Lola, a lovely Albanian lady. On many occasions, we had the pool to ourselves, which is also kept very clean. There are numerous super restaurants in the old part of Platanias, where Esthisis is situated. Cretan customer service continues to be first class with a genuine interest shown in customers. The lower town area is also good, with plenty of shops of all types and a bus service to Chania. The beach contains plenty of tavernas and two loungers can be acquired for the day at 7 Euro for 2. We also enjoyed another visit on the Little Fun Train and a new experience on the Hop on Hop Off Bus in Chania. The Esthisis Suites are something special and continue to demonstrate Cretan Customer Service at its best. Efi and her team are to be applauded.

We spent 2 weeks in a one bedroom apartments on the upper terrace (301, I think), it was very well equipped, clean, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was OK but could do with renovating. There are a few restaurants close to the apartments and lots more down the hill in the main part of Platanias.
