First of all I want to say that Effi the owner is one of those hosts that if you came here and you were to return at her apartments again, you would want to bring her a gift from your country. I know I wish I did. She's amazing and genuine. It was easy to find with GPS, and there are 3 parking spots inside the apartments area, you just open and close the gates yourself. We booked the Sea View apartment right next to the beach. The bedroom is a bit on the small side, with comfortable bed and places so you can leave your stuff .The bathroom is very comfortable size wise with hot water and good pressure. There are kitchen accessories available like plates, toaster, fridge etc. The third person slept on the lounge area which was the only air condition we had, and this was the only disadvantage for me. I would want air-condition in both rooms. In general you are a few steps from the beach, there is a nice Veranda with very comfortable sofas where you can rest, have food or read your book, there is a mini market nearby, and many places to eat nearby. Very very relaxing place to stay, I would definitely stay there again if I had control of their air-condition.

Home from home. Effi made us feel extremely welcome at the apartments. When asked she gave us her recommendations of where we could go/try. She was a great help and even lent us some beach umbrellas when we went to Elafonissi Beach. She was worried we might get burnt! The location is fantastic - right on the beach with free deck chairs/sunbeds to use. Or you can chill out in the back garden seating area. There's a shower there to rinse off as well when you come in from the beach. The main street is not too far away but far enough that we had zero noise. There are loads of places to eat, drink etc. around. We explored further afield but really like this location. There is even a great place two doors away (Sohoro) that has a great pool you can use as well (and they do great food/cocktails). The apartment itself was great. Very nicely kept and cleaned daily. It was more than we expected. The bedrooms and balcony were spacious and the beds themselves were very comfortable. Both bedrooms had AC so kept us cool at night! The bathroom was well-equipped and had a great shower. We loved our holiday and would certainly plan to come back to Effi's place!

Effi Apartments was absolutely stunning. Super location directly on the beach - perfect for an early morning swim, beach day, and late night dip. The room is spacious with a little kitchen and a nice balcony to drink your morning coffee and dry your beach towels. There’s a nice outdoor area and garden that you can use which has a beautiful view of the ocean. Effi was a fantastic host - very accommodating, service-minded and kind. Overall, 12/10! Would definitely recommend to stay here if you’re going to Platanias.

Stayed at Effi apartments for a week, situated on beach front with fabulous outside seating area to relax on. Apartment was great, immaculate and best shower ever !! Owner really helpful and fantastic restaurant recommendations, couldn’t do enough for us. Been a perfect holiday and would definitely recommend and be returning one day,

Ik kan niet anders zeggen dat het een heerlijke vakantie was bij Effi. Appartement perfect, bedden goed, schoonmaakster werkt heel goed! Effi doet alles voor haar gasten, niks is haar te gek en ze let op kleine details in het hotel waardoor jij je absoluut thuisvoelt. Je bent haar gast en dat laat ze blijken!

2ème séjour chez Effi🥰 Et ce ne sera pas le dernier! Effi est une hôtesse exceptionnelle! On se sent comme des invités. Le lieu est superbe, décoré avec beaucoup de goût! Notre studio était très confortable. Joli jardin avec des canapés. Accès direct à la plage avec des transats. En plein centre de Platanias, mais loin du bruit puisqu'on est près de la plage. De nombreux restaurants et magasins tout autour.

Die beste Gastgeberin die ich bisher kennengelernt habe! Die Lage ist direkt am Strand und auch wer mal etwas Schatten braucht kann sich im Garten mit Strandblick zurück ziehen oder Abends in der Lounge sitzen. Die Zimmer werden jeden Tag gereinigt und alle 2 Tage werden Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder.
