Nice hotel with great location. Just around the corner is restaurants, bars and bus stop. You can easily walk to the beach. Owners are very nice and friendly. Room is clean and there is everything you need. Pool area is nice and also very clean. Value for your money🤩

We were 4 people and stayed in a small studio 35 square metres, offering a small kitchenette and two balconies. Very reasonable rates and there are 3 free parking spaces and Dmitris is very service oriented. Very decent breakfasts can be had here, I loved their omelettes! This location offers you a very close proximity to just about anything Planatias has to offer and yet its quiet enough to offer you good sleep. I have a bad back and need a somewhat firm bed, my bed was just perfect as like I have mentioned, the rooms are very clead.

Everything about these apartments were way better than expected, it is very clean and we stayed in A5 which seemed to have been recently refurbished there is a lovely pool area and a small bar serving breakfast and meals throughout the day it is a family run business and they all go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home, the apartments are very central to Platanias but also very peaceful and you do not here any noise from the main road, would highly recommend

Just returned from a great holiday in crete. But it was this hotel what made it really outstanding. It's run by a wonderful family and they make you fell home from home. Dimitris is looking after each guest and the hospitality in this hotel from everybody working there is the best I ever experienced. the hotel is very clean, its in a quiet location yet only 2 minutes to all bars, restaurants and shops. Whatever you want to be organised for you, Dimitris will sort it out in no time. The food served at the pool is all freshly made and just excellent. Not to forget: very affordable prices! when I was sitting around 7 pm at the pool Dimitris Mum comes and brings you freshly baked cake or some fresh fruit. It is as I said - Home from Home!!! I will be back this October. I can only highly recommend this Hotel.

Very beautiful and clean hotel, we had restful holiday at Amaryllis Hotel in Platanias. Is closed to the main atractions in Platanias, very nice beaches near also. Dimitris, the owner is very helpful and nice with everyone! We highly recommend this stay.PS. from the rooms you can se the sea!!

Stayed for 3 nights having toured Crete for 2 weeks. This was a very good find. The hotel is situated in the heart of Platanias but is set back from the hustle and bustle of the main ***** and the ‘centre’ of Platanias with a wide range of cafes, restaurants and bars. This area is very busy at night but the hotel’s location does mean it’s nice and quiet. It’s evident that the owners have been busy upgrading different aspects including the rooms with new bathrooms and kitchen areas. The only very minor criticism was a lack of any drawer storage for clothes. There is a wardrobe with hangers but nowhere for other clothes you simply don’t hang up. It was ok as we were only 3 nights but a week or fortnight with clothes in a suitcase would be more challenging. There was also a musty smell under the sink area in the kitchen. Probably from a previous leak but it was only noticeable when using the bin so not a game changer. The pool area has also benefited from what appears to be a clever upgrade to the entire floor area and has a good number of sun loungers. The pool itself was a good size and a great temperature. You can safely stand at one end beside the separate kids area before it steeply drops down to the deep end and I mean deep. Two sets of stairs are available. A pool bar and snack bar is available for the majority of the day with cold refreshing drinks and very good food. Everything is very clean and the team are on hand to help with anything. Will return.

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday staying in Hotel Amaryllis. Hospitality is absolute top level and Dimitri makes great breakfast. The location is perfect, the main street is just down the road, but the hotel itself is very quiet and has calm athmosphere. Rooms were nice, good bed, great seaview from the top floor and good air conditioning. Would recommend staying here, great value.

Had a wonderful stay at Amaryllis. Perfect location, central and close to the beach but still quiet during night. Great beds and very nice, newly renovated rooms. The staff at this hotel is super friendly and greets you and helps you with the luggage as you leave the taxi. The hotel has a beach bar with great food at affordable prices.
