We have been here twice. It's a lovely resort with great staff, which is easy to navigate, surrounded by a beautiful Golf Course in the stunning hills of the Costa Brava, 10 min drive from the beach. The resorts facilities are very good, pool, gym, good bar and restaurant and small shop. Easy parking and comfortable beds. If they had a dishwasher and air con it would be perfect but being in the hills, it's not as hot as down on the coast so wasn't too bad even in August. We will definitely go again.

The resort is really an aparthotel (flats with separate entrances). Common areas like reception, swimmming pool, loundry room, small shop and others available. The furnishing is old and very traditional in a very old fashioned way. No airconditioning available which is a big minus. Difficult to keep windows open as there are very active mosquitos and mosquito nets available only in the main bedroom. There is a kitchen in each flat but no dish washing maschine and microwave available. The outdoor swimming pool is so so as there are high chlorine levels and the big picture impression is that this is prettty old. The indoor swimming pool closed during summer (no information about it available ahead during booking the place). A trip to the sea takes ca. 15 minutes, as the resort is located at the top of a hill and one has to take impressive U-turn curves to get to the place / get out to the town located at the seaside. Recommended for families with small kids or couples intrested in golf (the resport is adjacent to a nice golf club).

Good things: - Beautiful houses, gardens and views To be improved: - it needs urgent modernisation, it has not been updated since the 90s - the apartments have the minimum equipment, no microwave, no dishwasher… - NO airco! In the Spanish Summers with min 30C, the apartments become saunas… - the swimming pool is absolutely crowded. The rules indicate Max 25 people in the pool, you can find easily 50, impossible to move…. - NO restaurant not even in high season. The alternative is a camping-style cantina with fluorescent neon lights, absolutely crowded. Certainly it is NOT a 4* category resort, there are many other better places in the Costa Brava.

Over crowded no where to sit by pool except at a table and chairs. Clearly they can’t cater for the numbers of people they book. Corridors never swept. Kitchen only open part time due to staff shortage . I’m a member not sure will continue to one to be one though

Very good restaurant! It’s hard to find a restaurant in Platja de Aro with such good service and food! Everything we had was really good! We love Hapimag and the friendly people who are working there!

We are Hapimag members and booked 1st October for a week with family. Amazing apartment with mountain, sea and golf views. Very generous apartment for 4 but could have accommodated 6 easily. Did a lot of swimming in the outdoor (and indoor) pool and we took full advantage of the pool bar and restaurant. If you want a beach front hotel this is not for you as 6km in land, but we went to the beach most days and then escaped back to the peace and tranquility of the resort.

Als frequent gebruiker van Hapimag-locaties kunnen we Mas Nou aanbevelen; vooral om vanuit dit resort verschillende golfbanen te reserveren; het complex ligt grandioos omgeven door een magnifieke 18 holes golfbaan. Ook de omgeving is aantrekkelijk en een bezoek aan Gerona, het huis van Dali en het museum Dali in Figueres mogen niet ontbreken

We hebben weer heerlijk genoten. De locatie was top, me een mooie omgeving en goed appartement. Top voor verbetering, het was fijn geweest als er meer laadpalen zijn voor de elektrische auto
