Nice appartements with comfortable beds and a great vibe. Highly recommended

First impression wasnt great as they demanded £50 euros deposit in cash and after our awful cramped and exhausting ryan air flight we then had to go off searching for a cash machine. Still no idea what it was for as they gave it back when we were going without checking the room. then they gave us keycards and when we got to the room it turned out to need a normal key! There were a couple of rust stains in the shower tray which didnt look great, the sockets were a bit loose in the wall and i cut myself on a razor sharp piece of metal on the dining chair where the welding had come away. There is no air con but they lent us a fan which was a big relief. Apart from these niggles it was a nice spacious apartment, we were lucky enough to have a sea view which i dont think many others had, although they all overlook the pool and have big balconies with tables and chairs- the doves come onto the balconies and let you hand feed them! Unfortunately they do allow smoking on the balconies which stinks out everyone elses apartments. it was clean and tidy and excellent value, its a fairly small hotel so you will get to know all the staff who are all very helpful and very friendly. There is a nice pool but it is not open early morning or in the evenings. All in all for the amount we paid it was extremely good value and the location is great for both the beach and the yumbo centre. I did get three teenagers trying to mug me as i was coming back to the hotel at night though, so be careful! other than that everyone in the resort is really friendly

Currently staying at the Amazonas Apartments and we are extremely happy with everything. On the first day we arrived around noon and the receptionist told us our allocated room wasn’t ready as check in wasn’t until 2pm, we said that was fine and were ready to leave our bags when she said a different room was ready and checked us in.€50 deposit was paid and we paid €30 for a safe for two weeks.There is no air conditioning and as it is very hot my wife asked for a fan which was brought to the room within a couple of hours The room is perfect with very comfy beds and a great shower and balcony. It has a large fridge/freezer and everything you need for self catering. Washing up liquid,dish cloth ,scourer and tea cloths are supplied, which is a nice touch. Bath towels and hand towels and also bath mat are regularly changed and toilet paper is supplied The rooms are diligently cleaned 5 days a week and towels and bedding are regularly changed The pool area is very clean and there are ample sun beds on three levels with pool bar open from 9am to 5pm with drinks as cheap if not cheaper than in town. It’s a perfect location with a 5 min stroll taking you to the beach and just 10 min walk to the Yumbo centre with the numerous bars and restaurants Also supermarket is only a couple of buildings away so not far to carry your supplies Overall excellent accommodation in an excellent location

Rooms were basic but clean , hotel bar is never open. They do not do food anymore so holiday companies you are giving false information. Hotel has no facilities whatsoever . Supermarket 5 min walk . Beach is 5 mins too but down a steep slope

great location, room basic & a bit old fashioned but very clean & comfy beds,great balcony with view over pool which was very quiet as most people went to the beach. All staff from Reception to cleaners & pool guys all friendly & helpful. Someone on Reception 24 hrs Extras like washing up liquid cloth & scourer very handy,don`t usually get this in budget apartments. Got a fan from reception (no charge) as it was very hot. Would stay again,hope to go back over winter.

Came with my friends and stayed at this hotel. Staff were nice and food was great ! Also the swimming pool was an added bonus aswell. The rooms themselves were clean and there was regular room service which was nice. Would stay here again next time I come to Gran Canaria
