First of all, SPECIAL SHOUT OUT for the housekeeping lady who did the cleaning up for our roomđđ We had already checked out and were waiting in the lobby for the Grab driver when the housekeeping lady rushed down and returned my daughter's earbuds!! Thank you for going the extra mile!
Other things we loved about Kyoto Boutique:
- nice classy decor and the wooden floor (I hate carpeted floors in hotel rooms cos it's hard to tell if it's clean)
- the hot water heater for the shower works perfectly!
- there is a water cooler at the floor lobby so we could get cold and hot water!!
- there is a safe in the room
- many coffeeshops and restaurants nearby. Also has a supermarket just downstairs.
- excellent service
But overall the hotel should probably do some renovations or fix some of the items in the room.
- Some parts of the wallpaper were peeling off.
- The tap was loose and had to be shut off in a particular direction or the water would keep flowing.
- the switch to the toilet did not have a cover so we couldn't switch off the lights
- the temperature of one of the aircons couldn't be adjusted so it blasted very cold air all night. Thankfully, the family suite had 2 aircons (cos the room was divided into 2 areas, each w a queen bed). So we turned on only one aircon.
The location is superb, with various eateries around. Around 500m to a MCD and KFC. Itâs also not too noisy. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The toiletries provided were not sufficient, had to request from the reception for more. Some rooms also did not have a fridge. There were some flies in the room too.
The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and well-furnished. I appreciated the modern design. The bed was very comfortable, and the living area was cozy, ideal for unwinding after a day out.

We had a fantastic stay at Mosaic South Key! The accommodation was spacious and spotless, making our experience very comfortable. Louis, the guy from management, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Weâre already looking forward to returning in January!
Itâs ok. Got cleaner and newer than last time so I guess the renovation is completed . Only the towels and the beddingâs still looks pretty old and they are all dark gray in color so thereâs no way of telling if it is indeed clean âŠ
Seletar Airport is located approximately 8km from the hotel. The famous local attraction Pasar Borneo is only a short walk away. It is very convenient to visit Sembawang Park from the hotel. Masai (Thai) Sam Poh Temple and Johor Government Administration Building are also nearby. All facilities in the guest rooms have been carefully considered and arranged. The air conditioning can meet your needs while adding a sense of warmth to your home. The leisure facilities provided by the hotel are designed to create a colorful, luxurious and perfect accommodation experience for travelers.
If just want to sleep,itâs fine. Near to many eating places(cafes and restaurants) which is 1-2min walking distance. Have to bring own toiletries. Hand soap and towels provided though. Toilet door faulty, needs to exert force to open and close and loud noise when doing. No lift, have to climb up 3 floors but treat it as exercise. Overall, good if u want everybody to be in the same zone.

GGab1990Location wise, it is located near many food and massage places, which makes it ideal. Service was decent, but cleanliness was below average. There were some stains on the bed. No bottled water was provided, so we had to go take water from a dispenser on another floor. The toilet's door had issues, too. It had problems opening and closing.

AAnonymous from SingaporeThis executive room is bigger and cleaner (cleaner is just my personal opinion).
The rooms are basic, minimal (as the name suggest) yet cozy, though the soundproofing could be improved, as some noise from the corridor was audible in certain rooms. While the hotel isnât within walking distance to large malls, itâs quite conveniently located with a few coffee shops, convenience stores, and eateries just a 3-5 minute walk away. The hotel is also about a 30-minute taxi or Grab ride from City Square JB, making it accessible to major attractions. Overall, a solid option for those who value a good location and comfortable stay.

AAnonymous UserHotel room is clean but quite old. The sheets are clean but the pillowcase looks greyish because itâs worn out. The bed for the queen size one is so hard and uncomfortable that you can feel the hard spring inside the bed. Room is quite spacious and you can even dance there. There is a table and chair that you can sit and do your work. The toilet has hot water and toiletries. The toilet door is wooden and old but has a row of hooks on it, however your clothes will get wet cos the shower is there. Bottled water is provided on the table. There is hot and cold water dispenser outside the room. The hotel is highly secured because you need the card to go to any level, even when you want to go to the ground floor you need to tap your hotel room card.
AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel and while there were some positives, there were also several areas that need improvement.
The room itself wasnât very well maintained and had an old appearance. The furniture and decor looked dated, which gave the room a somewhat worn-out feel. Cleanliness could also be improved as there were a few areas that didnât feel as fresh as expected.
On the bright side, the hotel offers full amenities, which was a nice touch. The location is definitely a highlightâthere are plenty of eateries nearby. We enjoyed a delicious meal of lok lok at a spot just a short walk from the hotel. The owner of the lok lok stall was extremely friendly and provided great service, which added to our overall experience.
Overall, the hotel could use some updates and a focus on cleanliness, but the location and nearby food options were great.

GGuest UserThis hotel is near to custom. There are a lot of shops nearby which are convenient.
But the hotel carpark needs to walk a distance... not convenient for carpark...
The hotel room only provides disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and conditioner. Still alright.
No slipper and no face towel.
Will book again this hotel next time
