Boutique Guest House Coco

A small privately owned guest house, recently under new ownership. We were not sure what to expect because Bulgaria can be a bit third world in places and the star ratings might not always be too accurate. We were prepared for something bohemian, but the hotel and rooms were smart, clean and well-appointed. The owners are very friendly, speak good english and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was continental buffet style and included the excellent local banitsa. The location is perfect. On the edge of the Kapana with restaurants just yards away and a short walk to the old town. Thoroughly recommended.

Location is very central and close to many historic areas and restaurants and bars, place is pristine and outstanding quality, hotel owners treat everyone exceptionally well and go above and beyond to welcome guests to their hotel, rooms are very clean and great quality, one of the rooms was a little small but still excellent, no elevator but hotel helps with bags and anything that needs to be lifted/ delivered to the room, breakfast had fewer options than normally one would see in similar hotels but still sufficient and satisfactory, when we arrived, we were offered tea/coffee and a leisurely stay at the lobby and not rushed to the room; overall exceptionally welcoming; highly recommend this hotel
