I recently stayed at the Travelodge Plymouth and had a generally positive experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. However, if you're a light sleeper, be aware that rooms on the first floor can be quite noisy due to music from the bars below. If possible, request a higher floor for a quieter stay. Overall, a good option for a short stay in Plymouth.

From the station, walk up the slope for about 20 minutes.
The room is spacious, but the toilet and shower curtain smell so bad I can't say anything about it.
The heating in the room didn't work well so I woke up feeling cold.
I think it's okay if it's just for sleeping, but the noise from the hallway can be heard a lot.

I was on a business trip and had to do a 1 night stop. Ami & Megan were absolutely fantastic, they went out their way to help with any questions I had. You have local amenities and shops near by in walking distance if you need. Has a vending machine near reception also. Would 100% definitely stay again.

The hotel is close to the theatre royal and about a 15min walk from the barbican. The room was on the small side, but ok and the mattress was fine. No carpark but three nearby. The location was fairly quiet so we could open the window. No air-conditioning. Some parts of the hotel seemed to be being used as a hostel.

Friendly staff, comfortable clean beds, great location to get to the Hoe and Barbican. Fairly quiet for a city centre location, could have done with more tea bags, sugar and milk provided in the rooms and a toilet brush should be standard in any bathroom in any hotel.
