The service was less than normal The room is big but when we asked for extra blunket the answer was no The breakfast was more than basic but if something is missing, the reply was not good.. For two days there was no tea at all.. waiting for the delivery
Sleeping there was a great experience. Owners are so nice and friendly, especially for tourists who are first time in Montenegro because they share a lot of informations about tourists places. Apartments are so nice, very clean, have great yard and parking places. Owner Dejan is great person, sport fan with lot of interesting stories from his life. I also like location because is quiet and nice and also not so far from center (around 9km) but also not far from Virpazar town and Skadar lake (around 20km). For sure this will be may place every time when I come to Podgorica!
What we liked: About the room and the hotel: Quite a pleasant hotel, which consists of 5 zones: bedroom (the door closes), bathroom, kitchen-hall, corridor and balcony. The room has a capsule coffee machine in the room and the capsules themselves, a kettle (but no tea or sugar) About the interior: The interior is pleasing to the eye. The furniture is all new, modern. There is no tawdry or excessive pathos. The room is spacious, it definitely won’t be cramped. About the view from the eye: The windows overlook the courtyard and we could see the parking lot. It was quite quiet, the courtyard itself was nice and pleasant. About the cleaning: Everything was pretty clean everywhere, from the reception and the room, to the parking lot and the dining room. Cleaning was done in a timely manner: towels and bathroom amenities were updated. All towels are spotless, the bed is sparkling white. Not a single stain was noticed on the carpet About the staff: The staff is friendly, will always come to the rescue and answer all questions About the breakfasts: Pleasant and tasty breakfasts for every taste: fruits, spicy pickled vegetables, vegetables, meat, sausages, bacon, eggs, cheeses, juices, water, coffee, tea and much more About the SPA: Inside the SPA area there are 4 sun loungers and 4 hangers, a sauna and a swimming pool with hydromassage. The sauna is quite small, but pleasant and clean. There is no unpleasant chemical smell, which is a huge plus. A little life hack: the hydromassage areas are located in the pool itself, so feel free to press the silver buttons wherever you find them :) About the gym: The hotel also has a gym, all the equipment is in good condition. What could be improved: – Bottles There is no water, there is no water at all to even drink after a long journey. Only in the hallway there is a cooler, but it doesn’t seem very comfortable to go out every time - The shower has no curtain/door, the angle to the drain is not according to the canons, so get ready for a flood. It’s unpleasant to enter after another person – There is ventilation in the bathroom, but it doesn’t work, so the mirror will sweat 100% – Broken trash can in the bathroom (we fixed it ourselves) – Broken toilet paper holder (there was no screwdriver, they would have fixed it that way) – Few sun loungers in the sauna , so if you are unlucky, like us, you will be stupid in the aisle for a minute and think about what to do next - There are few hooks in the spa for bathrobes, you will be stupid for another 20 seconds how to get out of this situation, while everyone who is in the spa is looking at you - There are no towels in the SPA; you have to take them from your room or not at all. It is strange to use one towel for a clean body after a shower and for drying the body after water with chemicals - the sauna is cold. If the sensor reads 60, then the actual temperature will be 30-45 degrees. The entire spa company stood near the control panel to set it to 110, but were able to warm it up to 73–75. This was the maximum. The husband said that this is due to the fact that the temperature sensor inside the sauna is installed directly above the heater and it (the sensor) constantly sees a temperature higher than in the sauna itself. According to the rules, it should be placed in the farthest corner – The “do not enter” and “cleaning required” buttons are mixed up, a small thing, but somehow strange all the same – The treadmill in the gym did not work

Spent 7 nights at the Hotel 201 (formerly known as Bojatours Hotel) and was very satisfied with the customer service received and the room facilties were ”as described” on Booking.com. Especially the air conditioning - with temperatures of 30° every day this, was very welcome! Great location with only a 10 minute walk to the bus and rail station! Plenty of bars and cafes within 300 metres of hotel (recommend ”Munchen Centrum” open 0700 until 2400) and only 2 minutes from hotel! Excellent food (including fantastic breakfast) and great selection of drinks all at great affordable prices! Even though Montenegro is only a small country it has a lot to offer! Trips to the seaside towns of Budvar and Kotor as, well as the ”quiet sleepy town” of Herceg Novi all easily reached by direct frequent buses from Podgorica. Check out ”busticket4me” on Internet to book tickets, check out times and also intermediate calling points. Possible to easily buy tickets on line but remember to print a hard copy for access to the bus. In addition, a €1 ”platform ticket” is required to access buses from departure lounge at all major bus stations and try and be first in the queue to grab a front seat for some fantastic views from all sides. Seating is uncontrolled even though a particular seat number is on tickets - just board, and sit where you like! One train journey is a must!!! It's a 3 hour trip to Bijelo Polje in the North (last station before Serbian border!). Sit on the left hand side for some fantastic scenery. Only 3 trains, a, day on this route (the day train to Belgrade not resumed running after Covid!). But the 0624 departure from Podgorica definitely worth getting up for! Nothing much to see there. Train waits for 45 minutes and returns south so you can be back in Podgorica by 1pm and all for €4 each way!!! If you like a drink then perhaps the 1 hour train ride (90 minute busride) to Niksic may be a pleasant day/evening excursion. The main pedestrianised street under 10 minutes from bus and train station has so many bars together I lost count!!!! All in all, back to base at Hotel 201 after 1 week and a 1,000km of travelling in this, small but surprising country. Hotel 201 has, a great fully serviced kitchen for guests use and with a great supermarket (& ATM) just 100 yards from hotel, the choice is yours with beers in the bars at €2 for 0.5litre and bottles of wine from €1.65 in the supermarket all cooked in the fridge in each room! Certainly will be returning on Wizzair £8.99 flights from London with friends as, soon as it gets, a little cooler. Thanks especially to Neda at the hotels reception for handling all queries - very helpful and her English is excellent! 👍 .
Well, I have been a guest at the Aurel Hotel in Podgorica several times now! I must say that this is my first review of the facility but based on all of my experience from before. The Hotel is situated in lovely surroundings near the entrance of Podgorica (coming from Albania) and nearby there is a supermarket which is well supplied. Also, the surroundings are calm and with beautiful houses of the local population. The hotel itself is beautiful, spacious, clean, and modern. The rooms are big and clean equipped with modern and cozy furniture. The baths in the rooms are also practical and modern. The breakfast is simply perfect, while the staff is very kind and polite always looking for new ways to better serve their customers. The spa includes a jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, and warm chairs and it is cozy and nice.
While the hotel is rated a 4 star, I cannot understand the rating system. This is 5 stars everyday at a very economical price. Spacious rooms more like a one bedroom apartment. Newly refurbished or finished they sparkle. Large bed, spacious room with table and two seats, kitchenette and a dining table with two seats. Large flat screen tv with several English channels. Multiple locations for suit cases to be placed. The bathroom is tastefully appointed and spacious. Rooms are quiet with no adjoining or hallway noise. Easy floor access via a wide stairwell or modern elevator. Under Croft on site car parking. On site restaurant and bar.
The hotel is in a very good location. The staff speaks excellent English. There are many cafes nearby. At first, I was given a dirty room. When checking the room, the girl from the reception honestly admitted that she had not checked the work of the cleaning lady. A cookie for openness. Usually, in such situations, the staff comes up with some kind of nonsense excuse, but here the girl honestly admitted her mistake. Respect for that. Then they gave me another room. It was significantly cleaner, but the stains on the sheets and worn-out towels did not indicate the high standards of cleanliness at this hotel. The friendly dog at the reception was the only positive emotion-causing element.
This is an hotel with 15 minutes walking to the center of the city There is parking available We can consider this hotel as a family hotel. The rooms are great with a good size, private bathroom, mini bar available and amenities as well The team in the welcome desk are super friendly and they assist you in all that you need They provide you a simple breakfast included in the rate The price is very competitive

I have just returned from Podgorica after staying at this hotel. 15minute from the airport and smack bang in the center (perfect). The check in was swiftly done for the 4 of us and the rooms were spacious and very very clean. Location could not be better for the shops/bars/eating houses. Did not use the pool area. Breakfast was also good and plenty to choose from. I would recommend to anyone. I had just one slight problem that I actually foresaw but still did, my bathroom wall and door was constructed from safety glass the wall glass protruded past the side of the shower making it easy to walk into, and that's what i did during the night almost knocking myself out, its a safety issue that would of been seen within the UK but seemingly not in the Balkans. Oh well it will heel in time.

GGuest UserWhat an amazing hotel. It took me a long time to narrow down which hotel to book for a birthday trip to Podgorica. I decided on Signum Hotel Podgorica and it lived up to my expectations! Even before my arrival, the staff was absolutely willing to do whatever they could to ensure I had a pleasant stay. I requested a room with a balcony and arrived to find I had been given an upgrade to a two room suite with balcony. It was beautifully appointed with wonderful furniture, an amazing color pallet and decor, and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I loved the walk in shower and the high quality Ritual bath products were a real treat. The hotel did not skip a step on the overall details with room darkening curtains, extra large smart TVs in both the living room and bedroom, expresso machine, well-stocked mini bar, cozy robe and slippers and strong, stable wifi signal. I booked my stay with partial board (breakfast and dinner). Smart move. Not only did I start each day with a great and varied breakfast offering, I looked forward to the unique regional selections offered on the dinner menu. Dinner was some of the most delicious foods and so well prepared and presented. I took advantage of the hotel's steam room and sauna and they were wonderful. Although I didn't use it as much as I planned, Signum Hotel has one of the best fitness centers I have ever seen at a hotel. It is fully equipped with cardio equipment and various strength training machines and weights. The hotel offers free parking and is actually not too far from the center of the city. I walked there and back one day and it only took about 20 minutes each way. Even a taxi to the center is less than 4 euros/each way. If all of the above didn't create an unbelievable hotel experience, the icing on the cake is the professional staff. Everyone from the front desk personnel, housekeeping, and restaurant staff were of the standard expected of a property of this caliber. They were fantastic and made for an enjoyable stay. They even went as far as to present a nice desert cake to me on my birthday. Wonderful property and amazing staff that created a very memorable stay.
OOuzhousheyingtuanyixianshengThe hotel is excellent and in the city centre. The hotel is clean and the rooms are large. There is a parking space for ten euros per night. The breakfast is also good. I will stay at this hotel next time I go there.
GGuest UserHotel has all the facilities you would expect for a 4* in a capital city although, Brits be warned, there’s no milk with the brew kit! The magnifying mirror stuck to the large bathroom mirror is almost impossible to use, for someone who’s only 5’4” anyway. Hotel is very clean and the communal areas are modern-looking. The room decor is a little dated but it’s fine. Bed was comfy, shower good. We spotted cute, festive pictures on some glass panels dotted around and, while we waited to check in, realised someone was actually hand-painting them - which is pretty cool. Staff were helpful and friendly, no complaints at all.
GGuest UserThe room was extremely large with a balcony. Parking is available at the property. The distance from the center was about 5' by car and about 40' on foot. Breakfast was extremely basic. We asked for 2 extra pillows and we were told that because the hotel was full (we didn't realize this) they didn't have extra pillows !?!?!, so we say bring something at least a sheet. After about half an hour they brought us 2 sheets! This alone is enough for me not to consider this accommodation a very good choice.
GGuest UserGreat hospitality, kindness and good service define this hotel in Podgorica (Montenegro). They are great professionals. A very comfortable and clean hotel at a good price. Grateful for the attention received during this stay, if I return to this city I will repeat for sure !!!
GGuest UserThe hotel is well-located near the bus station. The bedding and towels are clean. The staff are excellent - very friendly and super helpful. The Breakfast was amazing!
The A/C only worked sometimes and displayed an error code other times. Also, the carpets and walls were really badly stained. Finally, the shower leaked a lot.
GGuest UserWe arrived in Podgorica at midnight on Sunday (after a 3 hour delayed flight) to find that the hotel we'd booked didn't have our reservation. As the clock had just struck midnight, it was my husband's birthday and I was really upset! Luckily, the hotel were able to ring around to try to help us and we decided to book a night at the Ramada - and we are so glad this happened! As soon as we arrived, Albert on reception was so lovely and kind. He is an absolute credit to the hotel and left us feeling really cared for. Even though the bar was closed he made sure we were able to get a drink, and in the morning after breakfast, we found a cake in our room! So many of the staff wished my husband a happy birthday too - it was really nice and unexpected. (Breakfast on the rooftop was great too!) Thank you SO much Albert and the team - you made our impression of Podgorica amazing, despite our initial bad experience :)
GGuest UserI stopped for just 1 day, but I can surely tell who plans this place for a long stop perfectly fit! The number itself is very spacious and aesthetic pictures of classics create an atmosphere of comfort and taste. You know not such pictures as in the market cheap, namely with beautiful bage and content. Very clean , here's the right perfect, for a person who cleans the house every day, didn't find anything to twist) Very clean bath and comfortable, towels cry from novelty and whiteness! It was convenient to work with my laptop in the room, a comfortable chair and table. I'll mark breakfast, very rich choice and very delicious, thank the cook and his team! In general, this is the perfect place to travel both to the family and to the very own.
GGuest UserI was in the hotel with my partner for 4 nights, and here is our experience. 1) A hotel has the rooms downstairs, and if you are a girl or an elderly person, you could suffer bringing your luggage down the spiral stairs without the help of the hotel members. No elevators, no bell boys, nothing. 2) We didn't have a safety deposit box which had been promised in the booking details. After a few attempts to get it, we got an annoyed answer that it's broken and if we need something to store, we can leave it on the reception... leave money and valuable goods to the reception, where it's every day a new receptionist. One moment we decided to ask for a discount because we hadn't had a promised amenity and received an answer that everybody asks for a discount. Should we, as a guests, care about who asks them about the discount? Finally, after our decision to talk to the manager, the safe deposit box finally mysteriously appeared next morning. Truth to be told, it's magic. 3) We also didn't a Do Not Disturb sign, and it was quite an adventure to get it. For some reason, we had to ask it several times, and finally we got it. Not sure what was the problem here, but okay. 4) Also, when we booked the room, we certainly mentioned that there are going to be 2 adults in it, but suddenly we hadn't found any amenities for a second person. No 2nd slippers, no shampoo/conditioner stuff, not even a second hand towel. After our question we finally got a second pair of those, but, guess what, the next day the 2nd hand towel disappeared. 5) Sometimes you, as a guest, can use a piece of tableware in the room for your needs, such as using a glass, for example. So did we, and left it on the table, being certain that the hotel staff could accomplish such as simple task as washing their glass. It was quite obvious that it was used. It is not like we, as a room guests, have detergents to clean it. They ignored us. We left it untouched to see what happens next day. They ignored us. We ordered a food at their room service and left this glass among other tableware from this dinner, in the middle of it, and... they left it alone dirty on the dirty table. 6) One day they brought us a single roll of toiler paper while we had 2 on the check-in day. Typical rolls of hotel toilet paper aren't the largest one, neither were these ones. Next morning before leaving the hotel for our trip I asked the receiptionist to bring 2 rolls of toilet paper this time. They did so. Next cleaning day they left us with even less than 1 whole roll. Not sure why I had to ask them every day. 7) Another morning we came to the breakfast, which was included and wasn't bad, and my partner decided to make a cappucino from the coffee machine located in the breakfast area. So she chose the beverage, pushed the button, and there was no milk, only coffee. After a while she decided to ask the restaurant staff about this problem, and the waitress found that there was no milk in the coffee machine. After replenishing
Hotel convenient in location and perfect for just one night in Podgorica, a city which in itself is not Paris but which still offers a little something to pass the time. Kind at the reception and the structure is objectively very clean but poorly furnished, with a small bathroom and made with little money. I'll just say that the bathroom sink was tiny and had the long kitchen faucet instead of the one it should have had. Considering the costs in Montenegro, it's not even that cheap. Structure set up without too much criterion, with added terraces that create surreal situations such as room windows that give directly onto the hotel entrance and bricked-up doors. Not the best but worth a night. Nice bar manager!
The average price for hotels in Podgorica is AED 221 on weekdays, and AED 221 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
