Apartments Rakuljic

Although there was nothing actually wrong with the room itself, the owners were constantly lying and trying to get out of what the had advertised to us. They initially advertised free airport transfer and a pool to us, when we contacted them to arrange the airport transfer they told us it would be €50, before then not charging since we complained to *******. Then, there was no pool at all, which we then checked and saw they had changed their listing to not have the pool on there. We then tried to confirm the transfer back to the airport, to which they first said they were already booked and we hadn’t given enough notice despite us informing them a week before we were arriving. They then tried to say we hadn’t booked that package, despite us having being taken to the apartment from the airport, before they then said that they actually no longer provide the service and won’t provide it to us - despite it still being advertised by them as of writing this review. Ended up feeling so unsafe and scared of the hosts hostility we left for another hotel for the night. When we returned to collect our last belongings at the apartment and clean it early morning, someone kept trying to open our door. Luckily we had it locked but they tried around 3 separate times. We were terrified but eventually opened the door to investigate to find a lady angrily speaking Croatian trying to kick us out. She left to get a child to translate and we explained we were just cleaning, showing her disinfectant wipes and that we would be leaving in around 5 minutes. We were given no check in or out information (what to do with keys ect) at any point. Awful. Altogether too much of a hassle to sort out, along with a level of rudeness to go along with the lying.
