If you are looking for a cozy place to stay in Tuscany this is THE place. The characteristically Italian hotel and restaurant with its amazing views and pool can not be recommended enough. We felt super welcomed by everyone and could just relax and enjoy our stay. The hospitality, the food, the location, the room everything was perfect for us. Also, you have to try the Bistecca (photo) in the restaurant it was to die for!

What made me smile Peaceful surrounding Owners wife was so pleasantly helpful Beautiful view which was most enjoyable. Friendly staff Great pool Good size room Good size bathroom Comfortable bed. What made me sad The mosquitoes eat you alive. My wife was bitten more than 40 times. We heavily sprayed with mosquito repellent which made no difference as they kept coming and biting. The property is on a very steep slope so not suitable for physically challenged people. Parking was on either side of a very steep sloping drive. I burnt rubber trying to get up the slope, after that we parked in a nearby village (5 minutes walk away) The drive is crumbling with the steel reinforcing visible and in some cases the steel reinforcing ends. Many non guests use the hotel car park Food expensive so half the time we ate in tourist towns which had cheaper and better food I was led into buying a T bone by the very charming Italian ,owner on the first night with dinner costing EU116. No kettle in rooms so I asked for one and the owner wife kindly organised one. No fridge in rooms Breakfast basic but good quality. TV the size of a desk top computer screen Old Shower bath with only hand held shower Bath drains slowly so have to stand in shower sludge. The type of bathroom I used many times 30 years ago in Italy. Aircon does not work. Several others complained and each got a different excuse. No block out curtains. The drive to the hotel was along very winding roads some being 1, 1 1/2 and 2 lanes that took 2 lane traffic. Check your bill as we found one overcharge plus one item we did not order. This was quickly fixed after we pointed these errors out to management.

Top! Super friendly staff, good breakfast, clean room, plenty of free parking spaces, the view is awesome, in short: Recommended! From here you can pretty well explore Tuscany. Everything is pretty easy to reach by car.

Abbiamo festeggiato il nuovo anno in questo magnifico hotel .molto pulito e curato Addobbi natalizi molto belli originali e le fatti in casa con cortecce di albero e muschio di bosco .Le camere molto ampie e calde ,ottima atmosfera in pieno relax .L'hotel e' situato in campagna ma a 30 minuti dal centro di Firenze ,ottimo compromesso per visitare la citta ,e per rilassarsi la sera in tranquilla serenita' PERSONALE GENTILE TUTTO MOLTO BELLO SERENO E ACCOGLIENTE

Il 22 0ttobre ci trascorso l'anniversario con la mia ragazza paola, stiamo insieme da 8 anni, posto fantastico per festeggiarlo, a villa la malva. tavolo riservato per noi due cena a lume di candela. La gentilezza dei proprietari che gestiscono anche il posto , ci ha accompagnato per la fantastica serata. Hotel originale in stile toscano .camere confortevoli e pulite. ristorante una vera eccellenza di qualità, ravioli all'anatra e filetto di scottana ai 4 pepi cena fantastica, in una vera atmosfera romantica.Serata eccellente , torneremo per assaggiare la bistecca t bon di scottona la specialità del ristorante A LUME DI CANDELA

Très bon accueil, le personnel se rend vite disponible. Des chambres pratiques et propres. Grande piscine ouverte jusqu’à 20h et très propre. Le restaurant est extraordinaire. Il sert beaucoup de plat traditionnels et de vins locaux. Le petit déjeuné est correct. Il faut absolument goûter la T-bone locale , PARFAITE…. Les pâtes à la truffes sont excellentes.

Ho soggiornato con mio figlio quattro giorni ad agosto. Posto accogliente e rilassante, camere comode e silenziose. La piscina è pulita e tenuta bene. Anche la cena è stata ottima in particolare la fiorentina superlativa. Colazione abbondante con frutta di stagione fresca e ottimi dolci. Solo un particolare migliorabile, il cambio asciugamani della stanza mai effettuato in tre giorni. Il tutto a due passi da Firenze. Tornerò sicuramente
