Good location but poor organisation. We were the only ones there out of approx 10 cottages and they mixed up our booking so that the breakfast, champagne etc was not in the room and didn't make it at all during the weekend. How do you mix up a booking when there's only one couple in the place. Didn't plan on having to go out and get breakfast. Got an email after the visit explaining that I should have called them. Difficult to do when your phone is on one bar, and also not my job to check on guests. Shame, was a great weekend in the Hunter Valley

A lovely little bush getaway, only minutes from some of the best restaurants and winery's. The cottages are what you would expect a bush cottage to be - old and quaint. If you're expecting a brand new building look elsewhere, but if you enjoy older style buildings and are OK with the quirks that come with them then this place is perfect. Sitting on the veranda watching the birds and kangaroos was glorious. The complimentary breakfast was sweet and unexpected, actual real milk in the fridge not that terrible UHT stuff. A wonderful weekend getaway.
