Malù Bed&Breakfast

I have just returned from a stay at the B&B Malu, and unfortunately I have to say that, despite its charming appearance and excellent location, my overall experience was very negative. The main problem I encountered during my stay was the lack of cleanliness. As soon as I entered my room, I immediately noticed a light dust on the surfaces and some hair scattered across the floor. The bedding covering the bed (duvet cover) appeared to have not been changed recently, and the pillows of the same fabric had an unpleasant smell. The bathroom was equally disappointing, with stains on the tiles and a shower full of limescale and black moldy corners. I approached the staff to report the problem, but unfortunately they didn't seem to care. I didn't see any signs of cleanliness during my stay. The included breakfast, which could have been a strong point, was another disappointment, the few things that were there were served to you sparingly. It's a shame, because the B&B has great potential. The structure is beautiful and charming, with a terrace with breathtaking views. However, the lack of cleanliness ruined everything. I cannot recommend this B&B to anyone who appreciates cleanliness and hygiene. I hope that the management of the B&B takes serious measures to improve the hygienic conditions of the structure, because it could truly become an enchanting place if the right attention was given to cleanliness.

Splendid view and fabulous breakfast, fresh, rich and homemade, right in the center and a few steps from the train station. Excellent for those who prefer to visit Ostuni and Alberobello in a green way, without a car. Very kind staff who managed to find me a place for the boat excursion to the caves even at the last moment.
