Cabot Hobby Club Apartments

Overall this is a very nice aparthotel . The plus points- clean, quiet, comfortable . Loved our rooftop terrace . Apartment serviced every other day which was fine . Bikes for hire at reception . Pool area is lovely with lifeguard on duty . Straight across the road to the beach . Supermarket next door . Negatives - it is a good 20 min walk to the main hub - it is a flat walk . There is a charge for the safe - which is a little bit of bleeding the customer dry . Alongside this for a slightly later checkout - which was possible- a charge of 50€- even for an hour ! The apartment looked out in a building site with work starting after 7- however when on the rooftop it was not really a problem . If anyone were booking a swim up room - there is a corner one which basically does not get any sun - the one beside it a little only . Worth being careful booking that if sun a priority.

For the great bits .. this is our 4th time here , we had. Swim up apartment with great views and previous we have had rooftop premium apartments it’s a great location and the apartment had plenty of space. . Overall amenities are good but I am sad to say I won’t be staying here again until Cabot raise their game. As over the last three years standards have dropped . The rooms are cleaned every other day however some points need to be addressed the bedding quilts and mattress covers and pillows are dirty ,I ***** the beds when we leave and I was shocked by the stains. the floors need to be mopped regularly and the raised worktops were dusty. The shower base is stained and if shower head isn’t placed directly over the plug hole it leaks All over the bathroom floor. The living area needs to be sanitised better sofa covers should be removed and washed regularly or steam cleaned during change overs. Please sort this folks

We stayed here for 2 weeks late August. As a whole everything was fine and we enjoyed our stay. All staff friendly, accommodating and hard working. The majority of the reviews are accurate. Cleaners were in every 2 days as far as I could tell. A big clean on every other visit and a dust over in between, towels changed. Has everything you need. Room size for 2 people would be excellent. We are 2 adults and 2 under 10 and the room was a squeeze but it worked, just. Light on storage for 4 people. Kitchen small but equipped & functional. Aircon & WiFi included. Location is great, beach just across the road. Water sports just down the road. Spa next door. 15 minutes to the far end of the *****, loads of restaurant options but personally I preferred the old square and the area beyond the roundabout - was worth the extra 5 minute walk. Apart from the day to day, would recommend: Ferry trips from port. Lemon bar for live music. Old town is beautiful, 10 minutes cab ride €15 each way.

We just spent 12 nights in Cabot Hobby Club & we would highly recommend it. It is perfectly located, right opposite a beautiful beach, 10 mins walk (which we loved) into the centre of the town, really well stocked Spar right next door & on the cycle path. The apartments are lovely, we had a pool view with balcony, the beds & sofa bed were very comfy, rooms were cleaned most days which was great. The staff at reception were so helpful & patient, could not ask for nicer. My only reason for a 4 not 5, is that the pool beds go very quickly, there were towels on them from 6am. It didn’t bother us at all, as we went to the beach, but 2 beds & and an umbrella on the beach cost e20 a day. We did see a lot of people with their own umbrellas & towels on the beach (more organised than us), there was no charge for this. A big plus if the beach was the lovely breeze, the beautiful clear sea which was warm & it was quieter than the pool - it suited us with 2 teenagers. All in all, a great location, well staffed & well maintained, close to shops & loads of restaurants. Do sign up to the Cabot Club for good discounts & free beach towels (you don’t have to pay a deposit), well done to all at Cabot Hobby Club, we really enjoyed our stay.

Second time we have stayed here and I would stay again. Apartment clean, pool area great, reception helpful and friendly, pool table, air hockey, table tennis, bar, amazing location right on the beach, supermarket next door. The pull out sofa bed wasn't very comfortable, you could feel the metal frames through the mattress and there were a couple of power cuts. Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived around 2pm (so we just went for a walk for an hour), which is the only reason I would say for 4/5 and not 5/5. Good place to stay for families but probably a good 20 to 30 min walk to the main area of Puerto Pollensa

Smart, clean, modern apartment for the three of us. We booked one with a rooftop balcony. Unfortunately as we booked late we got one overlooking the building site next door, it was a little noisy early in the morning but they packed up by the afternoon and it didn't spoil our break. Helpful staff... life guard on duty at the pool all the time. Room was cleaned every other day, with new bedding and towels.. and the apartment was comfortable and looked recently refurbished. It had most things you'd need. If im being picky it lacked storage for the person sleeping on the sofa bed. And I think a simple cafetiere rather than the posh coffee maker would have been better, as once you use up the 3 complimentary coffee pods you just can't find the same pods in the shops. Nice coffee at the bar though. No entertainment in the evening but thats how,we like it. We were glad we didn't book the other Cabot Spa hotel... which seemed totally out of character for the town... being huge amd brash with music blaring til late. Beach opposite the hotel is great and it's about a 15 or 20 minute walk to the marina area. Buses don't seem to go along the front, so it might be too long a walk for some. Buses go from various stops behind the town to go to Pollensa etc..see the tib.org website. Lots of places to hire bikes, and cycle lanes along the front. Lovely chilled, pretty resort town and friendly!
