We stayed here in a three bedroom room. Two of the beds had a mosquito net. But I had bought a can of fly-spray, so I nailed them before bed time anyway! The room was clean and tidy and had good air-conditioning. There was no wifi, although we didn't ask about it either. The husband and wife greeted us and were very friendly. They had some cold Lion beer that they could sell me (I had a couple of bottles after a long day), so I was very grateful. The breakfast was simple and good, traditional items, omlette, fruit and poppits (or something), so we really liked that. We arrived one evening and they had asked earlier that day (I didn't receive the message) whether they should cook dinner for us. I wish I had said yes! but we were running late and had to grab something on the way there. The next morning the husband drove his motorbike to the Polonnaruwa ticket office and we followed. That was really helpful and many thanks to him for doing this. We hired a guide, and we could drive our car around the different sites (you can take your own car into the ancient city). Radha home was incredibly cheap and incredibly good value and they were very kind and offered great service. I would highly recommend you stay there, and the location is good to get to the ancient city for a visit. Many thanks to husband and wife at Radha!
