I chose the hotel because of the view! It is of course very beautiful. In the evening there was a beautiful sunset. The rooms are very simple, but for one night it was ok. I didn't like the food, the seafood is fried to the state of chips, it was impossible to eat the fish, but the desserts were okay. I didn't like the breakfast either. But all this was compensated by the gorgeous view.

We stayed with family The view is simply awesome, please take a moment to immerse into it while sipping a cup of tea or coffee. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The room is clean and hygenic . The menu options are limited but spread is sufficient and the food is tasty. They are upgrading and hopefully in coming months it should be able to offer more facilities.

When you have a problem lemme, the management tries to help you. Sometimes difficult when the hotel is complete. The next day they help you and appologize. Third flour is very nice suite with a view. Good food and nice bar. Do it but never room 105 or 106 till fresh up.

My wife and I stayed at Giritale Hotel on the night of 3rd June as part of our honeymoon, and it was a peaceful and memorable experience. The hotel is beautifully situated with panoramic views of the Giritale reservoir and surrounding greenery — truly a tranquil escape from the busier towns and cities. We arrived in the evening and were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were friendly and accommodating throughout our short stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely rustic charm that suited the setting. We especially enjoyed waking up to the breathtaking sunrise over the water — a quiet and romantic moment that will stay with us. Though our stay was brief, it offered a peaceful pause in our journey and allowed us to connect with nature in a serene environment. If you are the local traveler who is not concerned with bad service, this is the place for you. Ask for the set menu for the meals before they serve it. I think the chef is still learning to cook. Rooms were acceptable in comfort and space. Pool guy need to come early and do the cleaning....Has great potential with another new Chef.

The rooms at Girithale hotel are excellent, but I recommend arranging food from the hotel. The accommodation is excellent. Very good Location ,Environment also excellent. Staff and management very comfortable. Nice place to Visit. Every Excellent.
