Festa Via Pontica

The hotel itself is very nice except when you get dropped off and have to come up in the lift you think to yourself what have we let ourselves in for the doors were filthy and full of cobwebs, but the hotel was clean and very nice but the food wasn't brilliant it was cold all the time and had to microwave it all the time ,there was no entertainment except one night of Bulgarian folk dancing which was nice the winery was closed and the staff in the restaurant area very miserable and didn't make any contact with you just wanted to take your plates away as fast as possible the a la carte was closed the beach bar was shut we went late September so it was low season proberly ok in high season but prepare to catch bus or taxi to get anywhere as it is far from anything

To start our vacation we missed our flight & arrived 2 days later. But the hotel, food & especially the animation has made our holiday top! There is little to see near the hotel but as a family you don't really have to go outside the hotel to have a great holiday! Our daughter & we have had a great time this partly because of the animation team & the many fun activities! Melissa/Esad/Doua

I went there with two kids ages 7 & 9 and we had the best week. It was nice and quiet which is what we wanted as it was my first time taking the kids away by myself. We knew that shops and activities were going to be closed given the time of year. We arrived around 12ish checked in, given our all inclusive bands and was directed to our rooms. On arrival staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great, a lot to choose from with very nice variations of mains, salads and desserts. We even tried squid unknowingly until later that night! There was always something for us all to eat and one of mines is fussy. Our room was beautiful, clean and always got fresh towels and beds made. We had a lovely view from our balcony. Kids were delighted having a minibar. The grounds of the hotel was great, the kids were in the pool every day even though it was freezing they had the best time. Going at this time of year was even better for me as the adult as I had loads of loungers to choose from. They played at the park and played football. We took a walk down to the beach which is less than a 5 minute walk which was lovely and quiet. Beautiful beach with lots of sun loungers. The animators were AMAZING. We met Alex and a lovely young girl (I want to say DeeDee) who introduced themselves and played with the kids round the pool. Then Mariya came and she was lovely! I met with another English couple and we did quiz night with just us against Alex and Mariya and it was nice getting to know the pair off them. The next few days of our holiday it was just Alex and he made the holiday for us. The kids loved him, he truly is an amazing person. He made my life a lot easier, the kids enjoyed the archery, darts and mini disco. Even took time out to take us to Nessebar on the public bus. I enjoyed the quizzes at night, won a few bottles! By the end of the week the kids didn’t want to go home, they wanted to stay another week. I highly reccomend this hotel for families, we loved it when the season was ending so I can imagine it will be more full on when the season is in full swing. I have already looked at coming back around the same time next year. It was great for us as we just wanted to get out of the rain and into the sunshine and have a nice lazy holiday which we did. Recently renovated hotel, large and modern rooms, good selection of food and drinks (only downside: no free drinks at the beach), nice sand beach, family friendly, the animation team was the best - thanks to Hris, Vicky, Sonja, Daniel, Victor and co! :D

Generally a very good hotel and plenty of fun had Must give a shout out to Chris and the animation team who were excellent through out and made the hotel experience excellent with various activities throughout the day and the evening. Pros Hotel clean and tidy Staff generally friendly Food was pretty good for all ages and a good selection for all In main buffet hall food being freshly cooked at each serving from pancakes in the morning to chicken and pork at other times Poolside buffet was very good from fresh pizza to doughnuts (hot and delicious) Kids pools were good for little ones Beach 3 mins away Little queuing for drinks Poolside bar Plenty of sunbeds available Cons The main gripe was the pool areas Water through week went murky and seemed unkept Pool sides were cleaned eventually daily but never hosed down Generally a good hotel and would recommend on the whole although a little bit away from everything so if you wanted anything taxi or bus advised but was easy to sort through reception

Brought my son for a week, going home today, no issues during our stay at all. Hotel is very clean and most of the staff very friendly. Really surprised there was no rush for sunbeds at all, plenty to go round almost all the time. Peak season but never seemed rammed. Pools are nice, pool bar always stocked and the snack bar open good hours, from 10-6, pizzas, chips, burgers, doughnuts, ice cream. My son and I aren’t big on going on local trips etc, but if you are, this probably wouldn’t be the place to be, as it’s quite far out from the main area. Taxi approx £30 each way(so other guests were saying). Beach is nice tho and literally a 1 minute walk from the hotel, where you can do jet skis, parasailing and other water sports. The main beach area is sectioned off with sunbeds and a fee is payable, however the hotel will give you a voucher for 2 beds in its section. Entertainment team were friendly and tried getting people involved, pool bar staff were very friendly also. All in all we’ve had a great holiday and kept busy.
