The staff at Passal Hostel were very friendly and accommodating.

We had a great stay at Passal. It was the perfect place to begin our Azores adventure. Our room was clean and modern and was the ideal space to get settled on Sao Miguel! The experience at Passal is truly shaped by Paulo, who goes above and beyond for his guests. Paulo is a wealth of knowledge, and he checked in with us every day to help us plan and maximize our time on island. When our luggage was lost for 48 hours by the airline, he went out of his way, even driving to the airport to help rectify the situation. We only wish we had connected with him prior to the trip to get a head start! With so many plans and ideas for Sao Miguel and the other islands, we’ll be back. And we’ll definitely be staying with Paulo at Passal Hostel. Highly recommend!

Dirty rooms and bad service provided for the owner-manager of this little business. Be careful in this place owner uses really bad manners. Don’t trust them to use pick up airport service also be ready to pay crazy fees if you arrive after 11 pm.

I really enjoyed this hostel for the following reasons: clean, good price, good location near the center, super friendly. Would not hesitate to go back immediately! Also a good base while visiting Sao Miguel!

Our stay was pleasant at Paulo's hostel, he recommended many places to visit during our stay. The breakfast included as it is a hostel is excellent, the rooms have comfortable beds and air conditioning, the bathrooms are functional even if not too clean. At the end of our stay we asked to leave our luggage in the hostel until the evening, the service costs 5 euros per bag but there is no closed room to leave them in, they are left under the stairs within everyone's reach, having to pay for the service I I would have expected a more suitable place to store them but it wasn't a problem.

I have to share our stay at @hostelpassal, where Paulo & Anabela welcomed us like nephews from the continent. Even before arriving, we were finding everything so easy with the help of Paulo, who in addition to picking us up at the airport, also helped us rent a car, book activities and define a super complete itinerary with a map that he He made it himself (the best map of the island of S. Miguel, without a doubt!) The accommodation was always excellent, with a mega “Good Morning” and an excellent breakfast.
