I booked this hotel specifically because it advertised a 24/7 front desk, which was crucial for us as we were traveling with a small child. It is advertised on all booking platforms as having a 24/7 front desk. However, upon arrival, we found that this was not the case. There was no one available to meet us, and we had no information about our room. There was a poster on a table stating they had a telephone reception, although, they were only available between 09:30 and 01:30, which clearly does not meet the promised 24/7 front desk service. We decided not to stay at the hotel and requested a refund, but the hotel refused. This was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel based on their failure to provide the services they advertised.

Very beautiful room - modern feel and decor with private spacious bathroom and shared kitchen equipment. Good quiet central location near the main boulevard - sea and farmer’s market. Very helpful communicative host who was always available for help or info. Would book this again considering quality for price.

Very convenient location, bed comfortable but suggest they should invest in new pillows. The room was a good size too. Breakfast is a picnic basket with a good range of food, table in the room is too small though.

Hotel was neat and clean. Beds where comfortable. We ate a wonderful meal at the restaurant. Found it rather expensive as we where charged over six dollars for water .We had no hot water for our very early morning shower as we had very early meals flight

We spent the last 7 days in Ponta Delgada and made Casa Do Mercado our home for the week. We had a lovely stay. We stayed in the apartment with a city view and it was perfect for us. Francisco helped us get settled on our first day and the housekeepers even set up a third bed. The location is perfect and you are close to many bakeries and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, although Ponta Delgada doesn't have much to see. So being close or far would be the same... Satisfactory breakfast, bread and croissant were dry... they could have had more regional products... the room and amenities were all good, comfortable bed and quiet rooms. They upgraded and we stayed in a room with a kitchen. So far so good, we didn't ask, but we are grateful... What we didn't like was the fact that we had a kitchen, or breakfast, which left us without dishes, which forced us to wash our mugs and cutlery to eat on the day. next... If I wanted to wash dishes on my vacation I would have effectively stayed in a house... We were also unhappy with the fact that they told us that they would leave Saturday breakfast for us on Friday afternoon, as our flight was from early morning and we had to leave the room at 6:30 in the morning. Towels were changed and the room was cleaned every 3 days and this was not done in ours. We assumed it would be because we were going out the following night, but the fact is that due to the thermal baths the towels needed changing... It is what it is.

This hotel is very well located. We had a very nice room. Every morning we received a very nice and generous breakfast basket! We spent 3 very good nights. The bed is super comfortable, in short, we recommend it.
