Recently I have been a guest at a regular yoga class (not yet an overnight guest) occurring in the Spa / Wellness area of Hotel Maistra 160 in Pontrasina and today I felt compelled to leave a short review regarding my experiences at this hotel. Hotel staff are very professional and extremely kind and helpful. The facilities are beautiful and the hotel location in the center of Pontrasina offers great views of the mountains. The Spa area is very warm and inviting and the yoga classes guided by a wonderful teacher are fantastic. I am impressed by everything I have seen and experienced at this new hotel.

The interior is very tastefully decorated with lots of beautiful designer furniture. Very friendly, attentive but never intrusive staff. Great wellness area after a day of sport and the excellent cuisine round off the day. The breakfast buffet is definitely not to be missed. Only fresh, regional products are used. Everything is of very high quality.

The Maistra 160 is not only unique in terms of its architecture! Very beautiful and spacious, light-flooded rooms built with high-quality Swiss stone pine. The reading room in the room and the ultra-modern Closomat in the wet area of the room (bathroom + toilet) are unique. In the hotel corridor there is a state-of-the-art Nespresso machine with coffee and tea à discrétion and freshly picked apples 🍎. The spa and steam room and the saunas are state-of-the-art and very comfortable. The fitness room is also super modern. The breakfast buffet offers everything your heart desires. The restaurant also deserves high praise; a creative cuisine with high-quality products, including Länggastee and (in summer) ice cream from the nationally famous Gelateria di Berna. The entire staff is very friendly and competent. Personal greetings with attentive conversation by the couple who run the hotel are standard. Guests feel in good hands here. We would love to come back!

Nice people. Great bar. Great food. Great concerts. Just can't beat that. Great place. Highly recommended. Only place in Pontresina for a nightcap. Great lodges, great staff. Totally recommended! Would love to go back.

The pine rooms are tastefully decorated, and there are sparkling water taps on each floor - a pleasant detail. The wellness area is small, but very nice. Breakfast and dinner are good, and the manager is present and committed. The only criticism is the bar in the basement: it does not seem authentic and does not match the style of the hotel. The architectural style of the top-located hotel can be described as a "rather austere, simple concrete building", with all the amenities for demanding guests, except for a refrigerator in the room (!) and the somewhat (too) small TV screen. The very winding spa and wellness area is also quite small, with no real relaxation area (it's only "good"!). The varied breakfast offers basically everything your heart desires. We were extremely impressed by the always friendly staff (including the owners of the hotel).
